Once upon a time, there was a distant planet 2 billion light years away. Its land was fertile, good air as the atmosphere supplies perfect, satisfying and enough oxygen that can last forever.
There lived different type of creatures. These creatures had their names. They were divided into three categories, water animal, land animal and the air animals.

Narrator: Yes, animals that can fly kids.
Each and animal have their respective names, with the lion being the most powerful land animal. The eagle is seen as the most powerful air anime but the most powerful within water have not yet been denoted.
On earth, there is a large potion of salt water, blue and very beautiful. Its waves are as beautiful as it is fun to surf in.
People live happily as the planet provides them the basic necessities of life. Good shelter, water, great and relaxing oxygen supply, free of charge, and above all, love between themselves.
People are kind to one another, good Samaritans are everywhere. The leaders are for the people, fair system of government. No rules and regulations as the peace within the people of earth is at the peak. Unlike this planet, the leaders are just there to serve as a guide for the people.
Corruption, embezzlement and other forms of negativities are far from the people of this planet. They live in one accord, manage their resources wisely and stay away from every disease causing micro organism.
Health and wellness is at its peak as everyone is mindful of what they eat, drink, and their lifestyle in general.
This peaceful state lasted for a long time, until aliens discovered the planet. These aliens were rejected at first, but they manipulatively dismantled the leaders, and used their head as a puppet.
Hardship struck afterwards, people began to be one doctors and nurses just to tackle the high rate of disease and infermity. Hospitals were built as a base against disease causing microbes. New disease are discovered everyday as they came with the aliens.
The once peaceful and flourishing earth became toxic, with diminishing oxygen supply. Corruption became the order of the day as the once kind leaders became greedy, stingy and heartless while covering their cruel actions with the word - "Democracy."
Poverty became a norms as the leaders packed everything for them selves. The children are suffering. Low probability of getting better, mentally sophisticated and an ideal leader of tomorrow.
Things fell apart gradually as everyone began to do different things just to survive. Legal or illegal, the major thing is survival.
The rate of illegality grew to its peak, until rules and regulations were made. These rules were to provide safety between two people. People who once shared everything together. Now, they have to be guided by rules to avoid being hurt by each other. All thanks to the toxicity of the alien visit. These rules guided everyone but the rich were above it as the go away with everything they do, whether good or bad.
In a world where they seem to be no hope arose a hero figure. A person who could end the reign of aliens in an instant. In the darkest tunnel, a light was visible. Bright and colorful rays. Beautiful to look at. Nwothini is his name. A status could have been erected for him but then, something happened.
What happened? The children asked.
Easy there, I will tell you. Just hold on, says the narrator.
Reaching out to him was inevitable. He offered to help, bring the people out of the sorrows they are facing. Make the world as good as it used to be.
Plans were made on how to overthrow the aliens, but there was a catch.
What is it? The children asked curiously.
The hero had to die, leave behind their loved ones. Every thing bey ever cared for. It was a suicide mission because driving the aliens away will expose the hero to many unbearable things that will lead to his death.
After thinking for a while, he decided not to aid the planet. The reasons he gave are as follows:
Yes were once in a peaceful earth, devoid of at threats and things were going just fine. One life is not as precious as 7 billion,but then, looking at the bright side, the alien visit has brought some goodies as well as it brought some baddies.
Our knowledge has grown past what it used to be. We now understand what life is all about and we now know that we are not the only people in the universe. I did not even know what a universe was until the alien visited.
New inventions have been made. Many technological advancement. We can fly now all thanks to the aliens.
These hard times has made us strong. Look at Marcos now(hero points to another member of the plan.), he was once a cry baby, someone who knows nothing and could not do anything for himself. Well, now, he is one of the strongest we have in this crew.
Unlike before, we have poor people within us, yes, however, these are people who have not actually understood how things work. When you understand things, not only that, put in works and all that is needed, then and only then you can survive.
Even though their inventions causes pollution, I see the alien visit as a good thing that has come to make us strong and wiser. Thank goodness they did not wipe us all out when they first visited.
Personally, I do not want to die. I want to build a family, just like everyone of you. What good does it do to me and my family if I gain your praises, become famous but loose my life? I wouldn't go through with this please, I am out. If there is another way that doesn't require losing my life, then I can consider it. I want to spend time with my loved ones please.
The mission was aborted and the earth flourished. The was not eradicated but more doctors and nurses were trained to help in combating diseases.

Moral: if you want to become successful, you need to make your own opportunities despite the hardship. Else, you will remain stagnated until luck finds you. Luck is good, but then, you don't want to remain at a place in poverty for a long time.
