It is a non-arguable fact that: he who fails to set goals in any stage of their life, will tend to be disorganized and have things not working properly for them. This fact is why I find this topic very much interesting.
I got a partner who I discussed the importance of this topic and my partner really contributed not only positively but also factually.
my partner is Anita, known as @Cindynancy on hive.
I don't want to blow her head with sweet praises,
but she's a kind person. One of the reason why I really loved having a conversation with her is because she speaks factually and she's courageous enough to stand her ground on anything.
Looking into her eyes when discussing, I saw not only beauty but strength, courage, bravery, as well as kindness in her. She's not only kind but gentle as well as she speaks in a very much coordinated manner, making the conversation a very sweet one. I really enjoyed my discussion with her though.
Without a doubt, my partner contributed a lot to the discussion.
We discussed in details about this topic and she gave a contribution Wich i find really helpful.
According to her, she said being focused and determined is the greatest attribute required to achieve our goals, she went further to tell me that consistency as well as engagement too is also a key needed to unlock the doors of higher HP's and reputation in he hive platform. she talked about her calendar which she uses to regulate her activities and advised me to used the same approach.
Well, I really love her perspective, and without a doubt, she's spoke the truth.
I also made a contribution.
The first thing I contributed was the need for quality post. I really love quality and everyday, I try my best to upgrade the quality of my post.
Additionally, I hammered on the need for engagement. I've come to notice that engagement is a very vital key to associating with other authors, and growing ones reputation, as such, I hammered on the need of positively engaging with other authors.
Next, being someone who learnt hive from personal research and mistakes, I also told her to go in search of information and not only dwell on her knowledge.
I believe that a person with knowledge can do a lot of abracadabra no matter where they find themselves, and so, I asked her to go for knowledge hunt and not depend on no one for her knowledge.
I was not actually present in the meeting due to I had something to do, but I asked for a breakdown which she gave me some details about the meeting and how it went.
The host went deep to discuss the importance of defining goals, setting goals, and also achieving the set goals as well.
I'm really unhappy to have missed such educative meeting but well, I can't turn the hands of the clock backwards.
The best part of the meeting that I really grabbed was when the host said that we must constantly remind ourselves of the goals we set and review our goals often.
This brought my mind to the realization that a set goals must be reviewed often so as to evaluate your success or failure towards achieving that goal, and also to know the factors that will inhibit you from achieving the set goals.
The host went further to discuss an acronym needed for achieving a goal. This acronym is:
S.M.A.R.T
S equals specific
M equals measurable
A equals attainable
R equals relevant
T equals time bound.
The meeting which served as a tutorial really impacted me with new knowledge. With the help of this meeting,I could set my goals for the next three months.
To be very honest, I had no goal with hive for the next 3 months but I had a goal of being a block producer in the next 2 years and also attend the next hivefest in person. However, this meeting actually changed something and I had to make my goals for he next three months.
Wanna know what my goals is?
Well, just like most authors, I equally want to build my HP but that's not my basic necessity for now.
My hive goals in the next three months is to build a lot of relationships with hive bloggers. Alot. I want to create a chain of engagement with other authors and at the same time, improve my reputation in the platform.
Additionally, I want to build my HP. I have a goal of reaching a thousand five hundred HP before the end of this three months.
Furthermore, I want to also build my hive engine tokens in the next three months as well. I don't only want to build my HP, but also build my hive engine tokens and stake as much as possible.
Lastly, I have a goal of becoming a block producer in the next two years but honestly, I have little or no knowledge about block producing. However, I set a goal of increasing my knowledge about block producing to about 45% in the next three months.
These goals are kind of tough to accomplish given the fact that I am a student nurse who is about to write his final exams by March 2024, and still attending the school of pipsology online.
However, I plan on creating more time for my self in other to study for both my exams, forex, and block producing as well as posting and engaging with other authors by cutting off most of my offline friendships. One time consumer I have is friends and honestly, I spend most of my hours hanging out with friends instead of doing something for my self.
Determination, self control and limitation as well as courage also comes in play here. Also, I will set alarms to help me regulate the particular task I must do in a particular time.
I will make sure to drop at least 15 comments and 2 posts in 24 hours in other to grow my HP and reputation as well.
I equally plan on making deep research about block producing and practice during the process.
It wouldn't be easy, but I believe that only "the tough gets going when the going gets tough."
Thank you for stopping by my post, I hope to see you next time.
