Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. We live in a world where everything revolves around money, and the lack of it will cause you to be pushed away or sidelined completely. Nobody wants to be sidelined, and for that reason, we are all in a race to secure some money for ourselves and our loved ones. Sometimes I just sit down and I wonder why the money in this world does not go round because the money in this world is more than enough to actually go round, but then I come to realize that when some people get a spot to secure for themselves, they go the extra mile of making sure they don't just secure it for themselves alone but also for their generations unborn, forgetting that there are some generations already born that have gotten none.
Money might not equal happiness, but the lack of it brings so much sorrow and sadness and causes one to struggle and even fight for everything. Without money, nothing is gotten with ease; even the smallest of things will stress you and cause you to undergo a lot of stress, while the availability of money or having money to some point in your life knocks off some level of stress in your life, which makes having it a necessity. If you are wealthy or come from a rich home or have money to a point, your stress level reduces by at least 70%-80%, leaving you with only a few percentage points of stress to deal with, and a life with less stress is a good life if you ask me.
The fact that the world revolves around money and money makes the world go round has caused everyone to lock in and focus on their grind because we all have a family to take care of and even personal needs to take care of; it is very understandable to focus on your grind, but it becomes a problem when that is the only thing you think about. Many people have focused on their grind and, in that way, lost friendships and relationships that they were supposed to keep, ones that could have also played a vital role in helping them achieve their goals and aspirations.
You have to know that locking in and focusing on your grind should not cause you to kick or shut people out of your life; you can find a balance no matter how small to still keep in touch with loved ones and friends and even try to connect and interact with people who have the same interests or goals as yourself. Many people fail to realize that to actually win, you need help from people, whether loved ones or even strangers. You need a stepping stone, someone to refer you, and someone to recommend, and when you cut people off in the name of being locked in, you are shutting that door on yourself, and after you lock in, you tend not to see results.
Don't allow the chase for money to be the only thing you think of; don't allow the fact that money makes the world go round to be the only reason you love, for there are so many other things to live for, like family, friends, and hobbies, which makes finding a little balance very important, as all of this needs our attention. Even if we don't give them equal attention, we have to at least give each some level of attention.
