Hello, everyone
I welcome you to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. I think life hacks make life a lot easier than it was actually supposed to be, and in the case where you find yourself on a track, you know if you don't get off that track, things might get messy. One of the fastest and easiest ways to get off the wrong track is by using a life hack. Some people make the mistake of thinking getting off every wrong track is by changing their lifestyle and how they live their life, but it is not always that.
Life hacks are easier to adapt to than actually rushing into wanting to change your lifestyle, and then along the line you end up finding yourself falling back to the same habit you want to drop. Changing or dropping a lifestyle or habit is not always as easy as pictured, but sometimes with a little life hack you can find a way around it. A life hack is not you stressing yourself to get things done; it is simply a smart way of getting things done, and this way does not necessarily have to be stressful. That is why it is called a hack; it is a habit that starts small, and then before you know it, they become a part of you, and then you get used to them.
Life hacks can help you off a wrong track even before you know it. One thing I have always dealt with is procrastination; I will do it later, and then sometimes I end up not doing it, while sometimes the workload becomes too much, and I end up having to blame myself and grumble whenever I get to work. That bad habit made life very difficult for me, with a job that was supposed to be done three or four days ago getting done when it is very close to the deadline, and then you have to do it under so much pressure and tension while also attending to the job of that day or those from previous days too that were postponed or delayed as a result of procrastination.
I missed a lot of opportunities because of this bad habit; I sat down and watched opportunities pass me by. Some of these opportunities were actually meant for me because they kept knocking but just couldn't keep up. I saw how it made life really difficult and how stressful it made life for me. We all know what it feels like working under pressure and having the deadline so close and being forced to meet up because there is no excuse as to why you shouldn't because the owner of the job brought it in early, so what is your excuse for not meeting up?
Seeing what procrastination was doing to me, I needed to find a way around it. Every other step I took failed, and I found myself going back to it, and then I adopted the do-it-now rule. Whether a new job comes in or I have something that needs my attention, once it comes in and I am free, I am starting it immediately because the moment I say I will do it later, that means I am about to leave it until almost deadline. The doctor now rules that life is a lot better and easier; procrastination no longer has a room, and I get things done without waiting until rush hour.
