Hello, everyone.
Welcome to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. The festive season is upon us again, and a lot of plans are in place already. We have just a few days left until deal day, so if you don't have plans in place already, then you are on the verge of missing out on the fun.
As the elder brother, I have already set aside some cash that I will be gifting my siblings when we meet in the village. I already know the celebration won't be complete if I don't do this as it is expected of me. Being the elder brother actually comes with a lot of responsibilities; you just can't escape some of them, especially during this festive season.
I am an introvert, and it has affected me badly. As an introvert, I don't have many plans in place. I just have a few things I will be doing on that day, and after I do my chores, I will just try to stick to my plan.
Help Put Things In Place: There won't be a celebration if things are not put in place. The killing and preparation of the goat is a responsibility that rests on my shoulders; I must do that or else the celebration won't go as expected. Not doing that means we won't have meat, and for this reason I am carrying out this task with so much joy in my heart.
Get My Parents A Gift: It's a tradition for me to get my mom a wrapper at the end of every year. Things might be hard this year, but that won't stop me from getting her a wrapper, as she deserves even more than that, but that's what I can afford for now. My dad is not left out of my plan; we will hang out as father and son, but I have the plan of paying for the bills, though he might not agree. Getting him a gift is kind of difficult, as you don't even know what the man likes.
Hangout With My Siblings And Cousins: This is a plan between my siblings and I, along with cousins from my maternal side; we have not seen each other for almost eight years now. This hangout will be used as an avenue to get to know each other better, not forgetting the merriment that will come with this hangout.
I Am Not Missing The Christmas Eve Service: The Chris-Eve Service has always been fun and memorable all my life; it provides us with an opportunity to dance and show appreciation to God for how far he has brought us. No doubt we all know it wasn't easy to be alive from January to December; it's the grace of God that has kept us so far, therefore, he deserves our praise and worship.
Attend A Party: After all the hangout with siblings and cousins, I intend to as well attend a party at night. A family friend invited me to the coronation of his father. I will be missing the coronation ceremony, but I can't miss the party that comes later; 😂, it's Christmas after all.
