Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog and another wonderful edition of the Hive Learners' featured post. Many people miss opportunities because when told to sell themselves, they fail to or are not able to convince investors to see their potential. It is not like they don't have a talent or skill, but it is just their inability to convince or make investors see their talent or what they are capable of. Many people have the talent, and all they need is an investment to help them reach their full potential, but they have not been able to sell themselves, or when they do, they sell themselves short, thereby making investors think they are not worthy of investment.
It is one thing to have a skill or a talent, and it is another thing entirely to be able to sell yourself properly and make people see your potential if you get the support that you need. Trust me, there is a limit you cannot cross if you do not get the right support. There is a height one cannot climb to if they don't get the push that they need to climb that height. Many people think they are self-sufficient, but actually nobody is self-sufficient. If you are, then you won't be needing anybody to help you get things done.
If I am given the opportunity to actually pitch myself to investors, I will present myself as an emerging UI/UX designer with strong potential and a clear vision of what they want and where they are going, also one dedicated to growth and purpose-driven. I might still be in the learning phase of my UI/UX design journey, but what helps me stand out is my mindset and my approach to solving design problems. A UI/UX designer does not just concentrate or focus on making designs look good, but also on creating meaningful and enjoyable user experiences. I am the curious type and always looking for ways to improve my skills.
One of my key strengths is my ability to adapt. I learn quickly and apply feedback gotten from both friends, family, and other users of my design to help suit their taste and help them enjoy my designs better, as well as have a wonderful user experience. I do have a great creative mindset and possess great creative thinking skills, as well as the ability to see problems from the user's perspective or angle of view while I work towards providing solutions, and this is very important in order to give users a better experience and make my designs enjoyable for the user.
Like every emerging designer, I know that the right support will help push me, as well as accelerate my progress rate in a manner that is noticeable and undeniable. The kind of sponsorship that will bring about this acceleration in my journey can be access to better learning resources, learning from experienced designers both in my field and outside my field, and financial support to enable me to purchase all the necessary tools and equipment, courses, and a better working setup, one that does not cause fatigue easily. All these will help increase my productivity, as well as accelerate my learning speed.
I believe that an investment in me and my vision is not only going to make my work easier but will help push and drive me towards attaining my full potential. Every support will be greatly appreciated.
