Hive bought me a power bank.

Good day, everyone. I hope you are all well. As you all know, my name is Oluwatosin, and the person who introduced me to Hive is my sister, whom you all know as Princess Busayo.

It's through her that I learned about Hive, and I started posting on Hive on December 30th, 2023, which was last year. @Princessbusayo and Hive account@fashtioluwa have been helping me, they are the ones who helped and guided me on Hive. For some days now, the electricity has been a major issue here in my country, and it is so worse in my town, Kogi state. I will have to wait till the night before my neighbour would switch on their generator or I will have to go to school to charge, and because of the light issue I, was unable to post on Hive or stay active.

My sister would call me and ask me to post on Hive, especially on the available prompts in some communities like the Hive Naija, Hive Ghana and Hive Learners where I got verified recently. I used to tell her about the light issue and that I would have to wait till my neighbour switch on their generator or when I get to school to charge.

So I used to complain about light to my sister, then she told me that I should not worry and that she would help me sell the HBD I have earned to get a power bank so that I wouldn't be disturbed with light issue again.

So last week Thursday, she called me and said she would help me sell my dollars and get a power bank. She then called my brother and asked him to find out how much they are selling the power bank and charger and that he should tell her about it. So on Monday, she called me and told me to transfer some HBD which she would trade and send me the money.

On Monday night, she called me to send my account details and said that she would send me #27,000 and instructed me to give my brother #1000 for his help and use the rest for what I needed it for. I got an adaptor since the power bank already has USB cord. If not for Princess Busayo's help, I wouldn't have bought my power bank because I once told her about my desire to have a power bank but couldn't afford it until Hive came to my rescue.

I couldn't believe my eyes that I could make such amount of money on Hive just by writing articles and also engaging in my little way. This has encouraged me to keep doing my best on the chain and I believe this is the beginning of enjoyment for me and I would surely do my best too. Aside that, I am learning to improve on my writing skills so as to be able to be like the great authors here who craft creative words which sometimes, I find it hard to do but I won't give up but continue to do my best in this platform.
