Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today’s topic is from Hive-Learners, which says:The Perfect World. So let’s dive in.
Honestly, when we imagine a perfect world, it sounds like a dream. A place where nobody is sick, nobody is hungry, nobody is poor, and leaders truly care about the people they lead. Life would be so easy and peaceful. No worries, no stress, no problems, etc. From the time we are children, we are raised to learn how to deal with life’s situations and the obstacles that come our way. Most of these lessons come from difficult moments, not easy ones. When things don’t go our way, we learn patience, so that by the time we try again, it will work out better than before. When we fail, we learn to try again. We learn not to give up, but instead to buckle up and make it successful.
Now imagine a world where we live and nothing ever goes wrong. Everything works perfectly, and there are no problems to solve, we are free to chase our dreams, no society discrimination, no pressure from family or society, we are free to do whatever we want, etc. In such a world, life would be comfortable, but growth might slow down, and I have a reason for saying this. The reason is that if there is nothing to challenge us, then we will have no reason to push ourselves further or harder. We may live a good life, but we may never discover how strong or capable we truly are, because there's nothing to challenge our strength.
Truth is, challenges help us understand ourselves and others, including where we lack. Have you noticed that when someone has struggled before in life, they tend to be more understanding? When they see someone passing through the same thing they once went through, they feel this strong urge to help because they know it is not easy at all. Also, hard times teach gratitude. So without these experiences, people might still live peacefully, but they may not feel deeply connected to one another.
Please don’t misquote me. I am not saying suffering is good or that people should go through pain to become better. Honestly, no one wants hardship. No one wants to suffer or lack. But it may mean that the world was never meant to be perfect. Imperfection gives life meaning. It gives us lessons, growth, and reasons to help one another.
Furthermore, if the world were perfect, life might be smooth, but it could also feel empty. The reason is that there would be no lessons learned the hard way, no stories of strength. For example, some people got motivated by motivational quotes or real-life stories, and those things helped shape who they became. Without challenges, there would be no moments that truly change us.
In conclusion, from my perspective, maybe this world, with its problems, exists to shape us. Maybe personal growth comes from learning how to live, love, and keep going in an imperfect world. And maybe that imperfection is what makes us human.
