Maintaining a good Relationship with Neighbours

A good way of knowing a person character is to check how he or she acts towards people around him. If you are very good to people, they will always want to come closer to you, they will want to reciprocate the love you show them. This is just the nature of man, we all just want to live in peace and harmony wherever we find ourselves, but some people are just not friendly, they have bad attitude and character.

Like my Dad keeps telling us, be good to people and don't ever expect anything back. My Dad is very popular in the town we stayed, not because he is a politician or he is very Rich but because he is so friendly with everyone he meets, regardless of the age, my dad will show respect and care for people. He doesn't care about the Age too. He became so popular that the people of the community named a Street after Him.

Although my Dad has a lot of Character that I didn't settle with but he sure teach me one big lesson that I should always be good to people and show kindness. We live in a very messed up life where a lot of people believe that they don't need to show kindness to people.
Even Our Lord Jesus, said In the Bible that we should follow peace with all men. This is Why that woman In the bible name Dorcas also known as Tabitha, died and then all her neighbours came crying, showing how the Woman is so good to them, these sort of testament from her neighbour made Jesus really Moved with their compassionate, She was so Good to them, immediately Jesus raised Her from death.

For Me, I have always shown them kindness and love . And These made people get free with me also.

I remembered when my Apartment was raised to the ground, this was 2 years ago, I travelled to another part of the Town, I was very far but it will take almost 3 hours before I came back home. It seems an Electrical device lead to the fire outbreak in my room, my neighbours didn't really asked for my consent before they throwing themselves into the fire, they broke opened my door and tried all their best to make sure all my valuable are not burnt, although some of my devices got burn like my laptop, terminals and the likes but my Money as at then at home was almost 500,000 and my School Certificates.

On my way coming back home, I saw more than Twenty people in the house, in fact they made sure the nothing valuable got burns. I was so moved by their reaction towards me.
I had to appreciate their combined efforts and show of love.

If I had been bad to those my neighbours, I would have been in a lot of mess right o, being good truly pays.
We should always find time to say hi, or even say something good to them, a simple kind gesture can really go a long way by building friendship and Neighbours.

Although some Neighbours are usually very troublesome and have bad characters, so those kind of Neighbours might not be close to you, you might maintain a distance.
