When I saw this topic, the first disease that came to my mind was CANCER
Reason being that I've not seen or heard about any disease that is as deadly as cancer yet. Though not all cancers are so dangerous but notwithstanding, that disease is nothing one should wish to experience.
As far back as 20 years ago, I loss an aunt to breast cancer which we were never conversant with as of then. We were wondering what kind of sickness/disease that both breasts needed to be cut off and yet the woman died. You know, it was attributed to witchcraft because we were ignorant of the disease then else she would have undergo chemotherapy and hopefully survived.
However as I grow up and gained more knowledge I realized she died of breast cancer.
What is Cancer?
Cancer is a disease in which the cells of a tissue undergo uncontrollable increase, breeding, procreation or reproduction of organisms of it's kind in high rate.
There are various kinds of cancer such as:
- Prostate cancer
- Leukemia
- Colon and rectal cancer
- Breast cancer
- Thyroid cancer, etc
Cancer is categorized into two main parts namely Hematologic (blood) and solid tumor cancer.
In my little knowledge and observation, I understand that even though both categories of cancers are deadly, dangerous and painful but the Hematologic which include leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma are the most deadliest and excruciating types of cancer.
Cure for Cancer
If I had the opportunity to create a cure for any disease, cancer is my choice.
- Why? Even on movies, I cry when I see cancer patients in their most vulnerable moments and I will be wondering what kind of disease that is which has no regard for age, status or gender.
This is a disease one shouldn't even wish for an enemy talk more of your friends and family.
