A Whole Week Without A Computer or Phone 😯
As a person, I don't want to imagine staying a whole week without any access to my phone. It's gonna be a serious war between I, me and myself 😆
Let me share a little experience I had few months ago about this particular topic and how I felt.
From the Middle Belt region of Nigeria, I went for a burial in the Eastern part and there was no power supply in that village and it was unfortunate that I couldn't charge my phone at home before the long trip so my phone battery was just 10%.
My phone was switched off for over 24 hours so I was frustrated and felt left behind in this world. I also became withdrawn and sad though people thought it was because of the mourning period. Though it contributed Sha. I was praying for the generator set to cooperate so I could charge my phone hence they were trying to fix it to generate electricity. And to the glory of God, it did cooperated and I became lively and stuck to my phone where it was charging.
You could imagine the series of messages waiting for my attention.
My feelings without a phone 😯
For the period of 24 hours, I spend almost 14 hours with my phone and 10 hours to attend to other stuffs like sleeping, cooking, attending to humans , etc
So let's imagine I am without a phone or computer for a whole week and how will I feel.
- Firstly, I fall sick because most of my transactions and businesses are done with my phone aside blogging.
- I will be frustrated
- My online friends will miss me because I make inspirational quotes on my status every day with a lot of viewers. So they will miss me little trouble and I'll also miss them.
- I will miss out my daily Christian meetings holding on Facebook every evening..I'll feel bad.
- My phone and I will miss each other because it is my best pal in the sense that even when my human friends are busy or asleep, my phone is my companion.
I use it any day, anytime as long as it is charged and I try as much as I can not to run out out data.
Now you understand why I can't do without my phone for a whole week.
Peradventure an unavoidable circumstance occurs that warrants me to stay away from my phone, I will have to distract myself with something serious though I've not come up with any idea for now because I am praying not to experience what will keep me away from it.
