I am grateful to all the wonderful people in my life who made 2023 a success for me. Last year was one hell of a journey. There were happy and sad times, ups and downs, loneliness, and lively times, and I was able to conquer those hard moments with the people around me. I am grateful for every little change they made possible for me last year.
First and foremost, I would like to thank God for his mercy, his love, and his consistency in my life and that of my family. Previous years haven't always ended well for my family due to some illnesses that always happen to my brother at the end of the year, bringing tears and sadness to my family, but for two years now, God has been merciful and loving. He has wiped away our tears and has given us a miracle, and I believe it's permanent already.
I would also love to thank my wonderful parents. They are my support and my encouragement. What more can I ask for? Despite the hardship in my country, Nigeria, I never lacked throughout last year. They saw me through my university, and I have always been grateful to them. I remember during my project defense, the external supervisor told me that I was a daddy's girl. I was just laughing in secret, and I feel it was due to my dedication and acknowledgment written in my project work.
My appreciation also extends to my siblings. I am surrounded by guys. I have so many daddies and soldiers around me; they are the best. They always amaze me with their actions, they have always been there for me financially, health-wise, morally, and spiritually. Their wise words have always been my source of joy and inspiration.
I would also love to appreciate my friends, even the ones I am not too close with, who impacted my life last year. It was never a dull moment with them, and I also can't be sad around them. There's a particular lady I love so much. She is bold and arrogant for the right reasons; she's not afraid to take steps. I am happy I got to know her. The gift of a friend cannot be overemphasized.
I am thankful to be a part of this great community of hive learners. I am also thankful to @Kushy zee, who introduced me to Hive. He has been very good to me. I can disturb him for Africa; he still has time to put me through the difficulties I am having. I have not been active due to light issues; hopefully, as they say, next week the light situation in my state will get better.
I also appreciate those who supported me in this great community, and please don't stop. I love you all. It gives me great joy whenever I come across some posts. I have so many people inspiring me in this community. I don't know how you guys do it, but you all rock. I hope to connect more with you all this year and tell my tales at the beginning of next year.
