They say money can't buy happiness, but make sure you make a lot of it first before saying that nonsense.
About an hour ago, I was thinking about this topic and had asked some of my friends what they thought about the "Money can't buy happiness" saying, if they agreed with it. Some of them had said yes and when I asked them what happiness can money not buy, they had mentioned things like love, power and even freedom.
Now why what some of them said was true, I disagreed with some, especially this three things that I had mentioned up there. You see, depending on where you are, I believe money can buy you love, and I know what you all might say, that it won't be true love... But the question is, who cares if the love is true or not, just as long as it makes you happy, that's all that matter.
And depending on the kind of money you have, there are people out there who are ready and willing to give you as much love as you might possibly want, and all of it would be fake and yet you won't even notice.
When it comes to power, like I said, it all depends on where you are. There are places where wealthy people are being worshipped like gods (which is almost everywhere in the world), just so that they could gain favours from this people. Now in those places, those rich people have all the power in the world to do almost whatever it is they want to do.
And that brings me to freedom. In a country like mine, money gives you all the freedom you want in the world here. You literally could kill someone and go scot free, it all depends on how deep your pocket is and how much you're willing to throw around.
And this is why a lot of criminals (even online fraudsters) are walking free in the street today because even after they've been caught by the police, they pay hundreds of thousands, if not more to bribe the officers in order to be set free.
So you see, in one way or the other, three of this things mentioned by them could be bought with money, it all just depends on where in the world you are..and that brings me back to my question..
