We all want a safe trip and no one wants to go on a journey without coming back to meet their family. It is always by God's grace we are always traveling by different modes and returning back home safely, but since the contest has said if there are no security issues, no traffic and the number of accidents has reduced to its barest minimum, what is our favorite mode of transport?
I have always been traveling by land for many years now and I can say it has not been easy for me, especially ending up with a stressed body with pain all over. When I travel by land, I make sure to take some drugs to ease the pain. Taking away accidents and traffic from the quota, traveling by land is not fun to me. I have always been unlucky with bad roads, inconvenient seats, body odor in the bus or car and it doesn't make the journey interesting.
Some drivers are so selfish that after paying such an amount of money, especially when there is a hike in price, they still would want to squeeze everyone on a seat and it makes me want to suffocate many times. Different body odors will start blowing out when there is heat and it makes everywhere stuffy. To add to it, you start to inhale car fumes which can be detrimental to your heart.
Apart from that, the duration of the journey by land is another problem on its own and to make it worse, there won't be a space to stretch your legs as it would have been in one place. This would make you have this strange feeling that occurs in the limbs, especially the legs. I think it is called "Muscle Pull". You would think such a person didn't pay for his fare. We all are entitled as long as we pay with our money.
Our bad roads also are another factor that makes traveling by land unenjoyable. Can you imagine jumping while sitting in a bus because of potholes? No consideration for pregnant woman as something like that can cause miscarriage for them.
Another thing that makes me not like traveling by land is time wasting. You can't have an appointment and would think you will get there early. Apart from traffic holding one down, you still would be late especially when you board a public transport where they keep waiting for passengers to fill the bus up.
You might be going and the bus or car would develop fault and you would wonder if the driver ever noticed such. Driver's indulgence over a bus or car is something else that can get you frustrated because many would claim it was very okay before they start the journey and make you miss an important appointment.
For me, the only reason stopping me from trying another mode of transportation which is my favorite is lack of money.

Traveling by air is my favorite because it is safe, convenient and faster with no traffic or potholes. The seats are arranged neatly and very spacious. You don't have to keep touching your body with another on the plane while traveling.
Though it is expensive but when there is money, there is no limit to traveling by air.
Also, I love the view from the sky. Sitting in a plane and looking from your seat while you view the land with different nature and how they look so small is always fun.
Another thing I love about traveling by air is that you can move freely in the plane, being served some snacks or meal, you can go to the convenience room to ease yourself unlike traveling by land where you just poo or ease anywhere on the road when you are pressed.
The air host/hostesses on the plane are respectable and nice unlike our bus conductors in a bus, they will treat you anyhow especially when you are fighting for your right in the aspect of collecting change.
The first time I entered a plane was in my primary school when we went for an excursion at the Muritala Muhammed Airport in Lagos State. Ever since then, I have always wanted to travel by air because it is safer and faster.
These are few reasons I chose transportation by air as my favorite.
