An outing to the chicken republic.

I went out today to visit one of the eateries in town. I don't go out much and if I do, I don't go alone but tag along a friend with me. The reason is to feel free and make room for myself too. It isn't easy for an introvert like me to go alone to places like this and sometimes when I do, I feel like the ground should open up. Lol

I was craving Meat pie since yesterday and I was determined to go out after Church today as I locked my mind away from cooking. I returned from church and a few hours later, I got dressed up as I didn't want to postpone the day.

One thing I noticed about eateries is that, on Sundays, there isn't always much crowd but a few. This is why I chose this day to visit the Chicken Republic which has not many customers. Before leaving the house, I couldn't go alone again and I called a friend to accompany me. Of course, I know I would be spending for two and not only me. I was ready for that anyways and thanks to Hive for making it possible. I withdrew some Hive yesterday and sold off on Binance. I sent some money to my family and took myself out.

I got inside the eatery and the first thing was to take pictures. Thank God I wasn't alone because I wouldn't have tried capturing any photos.

My friend was sitting down while I went to meet the server to get my order ready. I ordered two plates of mixed Jollof and Fried Rice, and two small plates of Salad with two full roasted chickens. I got a meat pie for myself with two can malts.

I asked the server if the transfer would be accepted but she said no. I then remembered coming along with my ATM card. I quickly transferred from my digital bank to another account to make use of the card. While she inserts the card, it was declined and she noticed my card had expired.

What? I didn't even know it has expired since it's been long I have used it. I only make transfers when I buy things and this didn't make me observe my card had expired.

What they didn't want to do before was what we ended up doing. I transferred to the manager's account and that saved me. I noticed a guy having the same issue with his card and he had no cash on him. I suggest that he would transfer to my account so he could use my card. I was only trying to be of help as I saw he was stranded but he was scared 😅😅 Do I look like someone who would scam him or run with his money? Anyways, it is not written on the forehead but that doesn't make me one 😁😁

Well, I left him there as he wasn't buying my suggestion. I paid for my order and went out of the eatery.
