If someone should ask me why I like using stickers in chat more than text, perhaps I would have corrected him or her by saying I don't use stickers more than texts, but I love it to go alongside each other. This means while I text, any sticker or emojis will follow suit. I don't know if I ever get comfortable typing only words alone without adding something to make it fun and creative.
Ever since the introduction of Emojis, Stickers and Gifs, it has made conversations interesting and fun with the other person (s). You can be in a group and experience how fun and interesting the chat would be with the usage of these three spices. They aren't left alone without being used daily.
These three spices are so funny when used, especially someone that knows which one to use to relate to a particular situation. Like, I admire those who are skilled in this aspect because, to me, I see them as someone different and creative. There is this guy who knows how to spice up a conversation in the group I am in by using any of these three and the people would roar in laughter still using the laughing out emoji, tears of joy emoji.
Stickers, Emojis, and Gifs add flavour to the conversation. I admire people who use these three when chatting with me because we flow well together, and to say the truth, they make a day's relationship be like one that has been on for some years. There is this kind of feeling you have when you use any of these three to describe your day, moment or emotions.
is such a kind of personality I admire too because she knows the kind of sticker to use for a particular situation and it always cracks me up. Take, for instance, our latest chat today. I had to make her know I will be using them for my post and she had to change weirdly to me with stickers. She has one favorite sticker of a baby cooling her head and body with an electric fan. This is to mean that whenever I bring up an issue that seems disturbing or confusing, she tends to use the sticker to describe how she needed something to cool her body from getting heat up π.
There is no way you won't enjoy your chat with someone when both of you are expressing yourselves in stickers and emojis. I asked a question from her and the answer she gave went with a funny face emoji that cracked me up. I couldn't control my laughter at that statement followed by the emoji and it made me type the statement "you are a crazy girl oo"
Now, look at that scenario. For a normal person, using such a statement could bring different questions to one's mind, like "when has it come to this?" "Why would she call me crazy?" and stuff like that. But because there was a funny emoji that followed such an "insulting" word, it changed the meaning entirely and made the other party view it as being a joke. Of course, why would I want to call her a crazy girl when she hasn't done anything wrong to me?
Using stickers, Emojis and Gifs could change a meaning of a word and wouldn't be such a bad one to use at that moment. At least I have seen someone calling me a bad name, but came along with a sticker which made me not feel angry. If it had been the only word there, then I might change it for such a person.
Merit and I went ahead to communicating using stickers which are both something we use daily.
Merit is now threatening me with a downvote once she becomes a whale π I couldn't just stop laughing seeing those stickers and emojis being used. I wonder if I should just stop her from being a whale so she wouldn't resent me in the future and start downvoting my posts π Yea, it was all a joke but if such a word comes out without using emojis or stickers, one might think she is being serious about it. This is how stickers and emojis have come to save so many conversations online and help us not to misunderstand others.
Do you see that baby's weird face? π This is my sister's favourite sticker as she uses it many times for me. I could just enter her Dm and ask a question, let's say "Titi, love, could you please help me with..."
Then the next thing would be for her to send me that sticker which means "What is wrong with this one?" "Am I your love?" etc? With stickers, one can easily read one's emotion and expression at that moment and it cracks you up. Isn't that lovely?
Though I like using Gifs, I just don't enjoy it much as the other two.
Did I just say that? ππ I guess someone is smiling reading this part... let me know in the comment section if you laughed here.
The beauty of any conversation is the use of these three spices to light up any conversation. Also, we have sad emojis too that communicate how we feel, and how others feel so we can know how to encourage each other and care for ourselves. Take for example;
Me: Babe, I am feeling so hungry and tired right now π₯Ίπ
She: Oh wow! What did you do? βΉοΈ
Me: My lecturer just gave me a heap of tasks today π‘ and I planned to go home early so I can start reading for our exams π
She: Okay! Relax and calm yourself π you can find something to prepare and eat. I guess you have enough food at home, right? ππ
Me: Yes, I do. Will you come over? π₯³π€ͺ
She: Sure, I am on my way πΆπΆπΆ
Me: Alright! Will be expecting you. Love you, girl, β₯οΈβ₯οΈ
She: I love you too β€οΈπ₯°π₯°π₯°
Can you see the conversation? From being tired and sad to becoming happy and wanting to see her friend soon. That is the beauty of emojis and others when chatting with other people.
In conclusion, I make use of all three when the need arises which happens daily. I can't do without them in my daily conversation with people as it helps strengthen the chat, add flavour and spice everything up for us.
