Despite how severe every government's effort has been to tackle illegal drugs in a country yet this business seem to always run under their noses without them being noticed. It is unfortunate that it pays more than our daily hustles because people can earn your one year salary in a couple of weeks by moving illegal drugs to and fro, in and out of your country.

Unless a drug dealer gets caught and severely punished, it is nearly impossible to stop such a business that fetches you a whole lot of money in a very short period of time.

BUT WHY DRUGS?

Speaking of drugs we dont directly point out to pharmaceuticals although some of these drugs are also being abused thereby forcing it as crime meanwhile, just like Bitcoin in cryptocurrency is being referred to as the big ship and the father of other crypto's, the big ship in drug dealing and the father of drugs is cocaine.

As for me if i should come across cocaine on the streets i may never identify it because i barely know it's features other than being whitish in color and powdered because i have seen samples in movies.
So i ask myself why people consume this products? for what essence and benefits do they have on the body system?.

_{Let me take you back to the year 2013 when i burst into cocaine for the first time.}

Katampe/mpape is one of the roughest,dirty and untidy town in abuja as at 2012 having more than %80 of the total youths in the village uneducated,uncivilized and drug dealers as well. In my high school, we had a few students who were from this uncivilized regions.

After school one evening, we were accompanied by a group of katampe boys heading home to our various houses. But along the way while we walked and made chants some of the boys quickly ran along the side of a cave inside the bush and came out with some items tied up in black clothes which i suppose they actually kept those items there.
Trying to ask them what it was they were carrying from the bush, he untied one piece and i saw some white powdered substance.

"So why do you carry powder wrapped up so funny inside the bush?" I asked, They said it's for sale infact it's been bought already and they are heading to deliver it. "Come with us" they insisted but me knowing fully well that was an illegal duty they were dealing on i refused taking part.

The revelation of this story is that some of these guys were later kicked out of school after being announced that they were into robbery and also members of the black axe confraternity. And furthermore around 2019 i saw a post online where a friend of mine posted a picture of one of these dealers and captioned it R.I.P adawodi7. I was curious to know what happened and i heard he was shot by NDLEA officers (National drug law enforcement agencies).

It is obvious he was cought by the police for doing drugs and probably shot to death maybe while trying to escape from sight surely his life was already exposed to dangers because of how he lived his life from drug dealings to a society havock i couldn't do anything about this that to say may his soul rest in perfect peace.

LESSONS

I believe in life we shouldn't wait until we become victims before learning our lessons but rather we should learn from other people's mistakes. There is no value in smuggling drugs or committing various crimes where your life is staked at risk. Life is the most precious gift that we have and we shouldn't loose such a wonderful gift in the name of making money.

There is nothing so sweet and admiring as a healthy and safe society where peace and love abound and this is the society we all want to have in other to live a perfect life in the free world. Say no to drugs, say no to cultism, and say no to crime let peace and humility take place in the human race.
