The depletion of the ozone layer that covers the earth to prevent some certain diseases is as a result of what the humans has caused, not only the humans but the industries in the locality is also part of it...
Due to pollution of environments, the ozone layer depleted gradually until it was completely destroyed, now we record high cases of cancers and other terminal illnesses all over the world...
Pregnant women can't walk under the hot sun because too much of exposure to the sun is dangerous to the unborn child they are carrying... These diseases are caused due to the pollution of environments and surroundings...
The record of deaths over the past few years are very high , some of which are not caused only by sickness but also as a result of pollution which are self inflicted.. When the environment is polluted, it isn't only dangerous to us but to the surrounding neighbors also, and that will make me talk a little on what pollution is, the types of pollution, the causes of pollution and how it can be controlled......
First and foremost, pollution refers to any substance that negatively impacts the environment or organisms that dwell within the affected environment, it can be further explained as any harmful substances that is released in the environment and causes adverse effect...
Pollution can take any form either liquid, solid or gaseous forms all of which are harmful to the environment.. natural events also causes pollution but the natural events are also as result of man's (male, female and children) error towards certain things happening in their environment...
Pollution is mostly caused by the activities of man( male, female, childrens).. Their activities in their surroundings result to pollution of environments and they are detrimental to the health of living organisms..
That is to say, pollution doesn't occur naturally, it occurs as a result of man's error towards their environment... pollution is mostly self inflicted... The main types of pollution include:
WATER POLLUTION
AIR POLLUTION
LAND POLLUTION
We have other forms of pollution all which includes, soil pollution, noise pollution, light pollution and so on..
There are different things that causes pollution in the environment and most of which are caused by man... examples are:
- Burning and usage of Fossil fuels
- lack of proper drainage system in agricultural plants.
- Burning of garbage waste.
- Mining
- Volcanic activities
- Exhausts from agricultural industries..
The listed above are some of the general causes of pollution but the causes of pollution in my area is listed below and they include:
- LACK OF PROPER DRAINAGE SYSTEM.
- POURING OF DIRTS INTO FLOWING WATER.
- OIL SPILLAGE.
- BURNING OF REFUSE IN AN OPEN AREA
- SMOKE EXHAUSTS FROM TRUCKS AND CATERPILLARS..
- IMPROPER DRAINAGE SYSTEM OF INDUSTRIES.
- SMOKES FROM REFINERIES...and so on..
All this problems listed above are caused by HUMANS generally, because they are the main causes of pollution in the environment..
The ways by which pollution can be corrected and controlled totally is listed below and they include:
RECYCLING AND REUSE
instead of disposing items and cans on the street or in the waste bin, there should be a service that collect such waste for proper recycling and reuse...
When these items are recycled there wouldn't be any need for burning them that will lead to pollution in the environment...
PROVISION OF INCINERATOR FOR REFUSE
DISPOSALS
Governments should provide citizens with incinerator for healthy disposal of refuse instead of unhealthy burning that will lead to air pollution..
AVAILABILITY OF GOOD DRAINAGE SYSTEM
FOR AGRICULTURAL WASTES
The government should make sure there is a good source of disposing off agricultural waste products without it leading to pollution in the surrounding...
EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ON THE DANGERS OF
POLLUTION
Most people don't know how they can control pollution or what are the things that causes it.. Government should provide a medium that will teach and educate the public on how they can dispose off dirt's with causing pollution in the surroundings...
CREATING INDUSTRIES IN A FAR AWAY
LOCATION
Government should take the location of their industries to a place far enough where their refuse and agricultural waste disposal won't cause harm to the environment full of people..
We can reduce the death rate of the country if we are able to control all forms of pollution and enlightenment on effects of pollution to living organisms and their environment in general...
Therefore, let us cultivate healthy living habit in our environment..
In summary, when there is PROVISION of these things listed above , there is going to be change in the environment and there will be reduction in death rate caused by pollution and there will be all round happiness amongst individuals of the environment with full knowledge of how to control pollution in their environment for healthy living..
