In the course of SURVIVAL, we have all struggled and hussled and it seems our effort are not enough, and when we persistently work harder and do more than we can, the result is very dare and one of the result is "STRESS" but our sub-conscious state just feels like the struggling is a necessity to having a balanced and set future....
I have always wanted live a stress free life since i was a child and i am not sure if that is possible??
Growing up with my parents i have always heard my dad complain of hectic and stressful day and i ask him is there no way to escape living in stress and he said to me it is not totally impossible as long as you are working under someone and even business owners sometimes live in stress to achieve their goals...
Since then i have known that "STRESS" is one thing we humans can never escape or avoid as long as we are alive and breathing, the stress might not come from work all the time, it can come from your kids, assignment or tasks, that is to say stress is everywhere both at work or in the family...
Putting myself in the picture today, i am a good definition of the word "STRESS", some people who are close to me and engage in my blogging activities know the reason why i defined myself as stress and to those that don't know about it, i will hint you on my i am the STRESSED MAN...
But as you all know of the popular saying" when you throw an hand fan up in the air several times, it only result is laying down flat", that is to say, there is always a solution or ways by which we can cope with stress in our life and today i am going to share my perfect remedy of coping with stress...
MY REMEDY OF ALL TIMES......
I have made up my mind that no matter what i do in life, stress is inevitable and with that i should be able to ease myself of anything that stresses me out and now i am going to list my strategy of all time which has never failed me...
SLEEPING.....
The first remedy of mine that doesn't fail me whenever i am stressed out is sleeping, as we all know that in this world full with vast knowledge we have discovered the different benefit of sleeping and how it's an important thing that must be done to ensure functionality of different part of the body most especially " THE BRAIN".....
Here are the symptoms that surfaces within me when i am stressed and they include:
- HEADACHE
- MIGRAINES
- FATIGUE
These are my symptoms of stress and 80% of this symptoms are cured by sleeping and 20% by drugs, when the brain gets over worked or when you try to understand more than your capabilities then you develop this and then you tend to do things wrongly with mistakes full all because of the stress, the best remedy is to either sleep or taking a nap and that is why sleeping is one of my remedy of easing stress and i don't joke with that aspect of my life(sleeping)....
LISTENING TO MUSIC...
Oh yeah this one works perfectly for me too, it depends of what caused my stress as this isn't my every time strategy, when i get stressed out as a result of working on PC all day, washing and doing some chores, my first remedy is sleeping and the second one is making my environment lively and that is with music..
Not everyone is a fan of noise as that is what some defines music as, to me it helps with my reasoning and thinking style, when the brain becomes too chilled, the hormones need to be put into action and the way to put mine into action is by listening to music....
Music is life and without music boredom and stress will not tamper mercy with justice and that is why to sleep most times, listen to some cool and calming song that goes in line with sleeping and then sleep comes and drive me away and before i know it, am in dream land....
PLAYING VIOLENT VIDEO GAMES....
When i remain too static or confined to a place especially to doing one thing for several hours, i get migraines and headache and my brain needs some violent gaming scenes and that is when i run to my PS3 where i play this set of games:
- NEED FOR SPEED
- GTA AUTO 5
- ASSASSINS CREED
- BOXING...
These set of games ease my stress and boredom and it takes my mind of things that stresses me out, i get stressed out when i think to much about something and my violent video games has always been my remedy...
EATING DIFFERENT DISHES...
I am a foodie and whenever i get stressed out or weak, i go out to get food and from food, i feel sleepy and then when i wake up from sleep my stress disappears and i get active again...
I have that particular food that relieves my stress, to most people it might be local to most but to me its divine and gracious, that special food is swallow and that swallow is EBA AND EGUSI SOUP...
This food takes my stress away and i become sleepy and from there i sleep peacefully and then wake up with full energy...
TAKING A STROLL ...
This is the last remedy to my stress and it has never failed me, i love this english style of easing my stress and that has always helped me every now and then...
I drafted that habit and since then i have become a constant stroller and i am always energized after that walk...
Feeling the fresh air grazing through my ears and brushing through my skin is one of the best feeling a man could ask for and in collaboration with headset and some refreshing songs, that is what i call the stress absorber ...
In summary, you can see my stress absorbers walks in line with each other, when i get stressed, i take a stroll while listening to music after i get back i am going to eat, play video games and sleep to crown it all and then waking up to new being...
In conclusion, living a stress free life is what i wish for and if my wish doesn't come true, then i run to my stress absorber and i get healed and refreshed with the energy to get back to action and making a great comeback...
