Life has been crazy, fair, fun, beautiful, sad and enjoyable so far, though there have been several ups and downs but that is quite expected because what would life have been without ups and downs and that was how these famous saying was quoted; life is not a bed full of roses and also when the journey gets tough, the tough gets going, these two quotes are very popular and they are commonly used by us in our everyday life and they serve as a reminder to us telling us to never give up no matter how hard its gets in life, we just have to keep balling until we get there...
One beautiful fact about life is that opportunities are lost and opportunities are gained and the famous saying that goes like this that once an opportunity is lost, it is never to be found again lol, well that is a blatant lie, there is always another opportunity coming your way when one is lost, all you just need to do is to make sure you capture it this time around and utilize it in a more better way and that will prove others wrong in all way that there is always a second chance in some cases...
There are times where you and I have lost several opportunities and there are times where we all have hooked up other opportunities even when we are not sure if it would have turned out better but at the end of the day, it gave out an unexpected result for which we congratulate ourself for not missing out on that opportunity, is that not an instance of another opportunity utilized...
There was a time I lost the opportunity to pick up the knowledge of how to repair some minor electrical appliances in the house and back then I had all the time in the world to learn how to repair them but what did I do back then, I took that opportunity for granted because I thought I was going to learn it either way since he is never going anywhere far lol...
This was what I thought until one day one night when I woke to find out that my close friend who learnt all this and was willing to teach me without charges is traveling to another state to be the boss of himself lol, I thought it was joke that he would be coming back soon lol...
Lo and behold, I waited for 6 months, he didn't come back and that was how I waited in expectations to see him in eight months lol, guess what guys???, even after one year, I still didn't see him and that was how I lost the opportunity to learn how to repair little electrical appliances and wiring works all because of my unseriousness...
I felt pained but there was nothing I could do get back the lost opportunities other than to wait for another opportunity to come my way and then grab it when it comes my way again...
The lesson I learnt from the lost opportunity was to never joke with any opportunity that comes my way because it won't be always readily available for us when we need it the most, we should never stop trying to make the best out of it and when it goes sideways, we all will know you have tried your best but at the same time there might be a good outcome from utilizing such opportunity...
That is to say, it is can be one of two outcomes, either you win or you loose but you should never stop trying to hunt for another and I am sure one day, you will hit the big bag and then you will tell yourself you have done well...
I lost the first opportunity and after days of brooding over it, I got better and decided to never repeat such mistake and that was how another opportunity presented itself and by this time, I jumped and hopped on it like an hunter and that was how I was labeled an opportunist...
This time I had a friend who was a phone engineer, he stays beside my work place and I have been opportuned to see him work on phones several times, he has repaired lots of phones in my front and even several charging ports, I saw him working on one day and seeing how he repaired the charging port on just minutes amazed me so much and I decided to ask him if repairing charging ports was hard?, he told me it depends on the phone and also the kind of charging port it has, if you can figure this out thoroughly then fixing it is not the problem lol, you just need to know what type of port the phone requires and then you can start working immediately...
That was how I started learning up close but after some time I lost interest in the complex charging port and that was how I learnt how to install and repair phone mouth piece, I learnt how to work on small phones and that was how I learnt how to repair little things on small phones and if I can remember correctly I was able to live off it for a while and till today I still use that technique in repairing worn out electrical parts in my house...
In summary, I was determined to never let the second opportunity pass me by and that was how I got to learn how to do minor things on small phones and it was of greater use as time goes on and I could tell myself welldone because i have just picked up another side knowledge...
In conclusion, I didn't cry over a spilled milk but I decided to keep it going and that was how I scored it big, don't ever give up on a lost opportunity but rather focus on hunting down another opportunity but this time you make sure you utilize it efficiently and effectively because it will surely be of great value and importance in the near future...
