Hello friends. Meet again with me , how are you guys today? Hopefully in good health and smooth in carrying out activities.
On this occasion, I am back here to enliven the flagship contest held by the Hive Learners community. The contest is very interesting because it discusses interesting things in each edition. In the first issue on Week 38 this time we will discuss real stories that we have experienced. There are many events that we have experienced in this life so that we all must have a story in our own life, be it happy, sad or funny events that we have experienced.
Real stories are stories that we really experience and become memories in our memories. The story that I will share this time is a story that I once experienced when I was still in college. This incident that I experienced taught me a lot about life.
One sunny day I was getting ready to go to college because that day I had a class schedule in the morning so I had to get ready early so I wouldn't be late. You need to know that the distance between my house and the campus where I study is quite far, it takes about 30 minutes for me to get there. Therefore, if I have a class schedule in the morning, I have to leave quickly so I won't be late. It happens that the lecturer teaching this time is rather disciplined, so if we are late, we might not be able to enter and follow the lesson.
On that day, as usual, I went by motorbike to campus. I was not going very fast around 40km/hour. Many school children were going to school because it was still early so they were still seen on the street. When driving on the highway I was very careful because there were so many vehicles there. in the morning it's often like this because morning is when all activities start, starting from school children and people who go to work so it's no wonder there are so many people on the highway.
At that time I drove the motorbike as usual and passed many places until I arrived at a place that became the start of my disaster. There I have seen from a distance many people who want to cross the road because there is a school across the road so it's not surprising that many people want to cross there. When I passed that road, I was sure the road was safe, so I continued to drive the motorbike as usual until in the middle, suddenly a middle-aged woman broke through to cross. I along with the motorbike I was driving were dragged across the road, luckily the road across the road was empty so I survived and only suffered minor injuries. In a state of injury I could immediately get up and push my motorbike across the road, I did all that without me knowing it.
I remember that at that time many people wanted to cross there but no one crossed besides the woman. Luckily at that time I was not speeding so the accident was not serious, I only injured my arm and waist due to being dragged on the road. The woman also did not have any serious injuries, only a few injuries to her arms and hands and sprains from the impact.
From that accident, we agreed to make peace and don't mind anymore, we consider it all a disaster that can't be avoided. Because no one wants to get hurt. We all want to be safe in every activity we do. But disaster can come at any time without us knowing it.
After that incident I felt a bit scared and traumatized when I saw someone wanting to cross the street. I feel extra careful and alert when I'm driving. Because we do not know when and where disaster will strike. So I always have to be careful. Until now, I still feel alert when I see people crossing the road, although it's not as bad as the time after the accident happened. However, the accident taught me a lot to be more careful on the road.
We never know when and where an accident will befall us. Therefore we must always be vigilant when driving, maybe we are not the ones who hit other people, but other people can crash into us due to the carelessness we do. Always be alert Be careful.
A few stories of personal experiences that have happened to me. Maybe can be
experience for all of us, especially for myself. hopefully can entertain all readers. Sorry if there are errors in writing. Thank you very much for all of you. May we always be given safety in all activities.
