Greetings to all of us. How are you all in the Hive Learners community? Hopefully all of you are in good health and smooth in carrying out activities.
I'm again greeting all of you in the featured contest held by the Hive Learners community. This contest has entered its last edition in week 39. The discussion this time is very complicated but interesting for us to study together. In this edition we will discuss Stereotypes, namely other people's judgments of something that we are not necessarily doing, but people have accused us unilaterally. This judgment can happen to anyone because sometimes people only judge someone by their outward appearance, even though that person is not necessarily what they think.
Of course, we rarely hear the word stereotyped words, but we have seen these actions or maybe we have felt them. Stereotyped actions can happen to anyone because most people only judge others based on their outward appearance, without wanting to know what that person really is. the habit of grouping people based on ethnicity, skin color and making these stereotyped actions happen.
I myself have experienced an incident where I was accused of starting a fight when in reality it was not like that. This incident happened when I was still in school at the beginning of this time because of a misunderstanding between me and my friend at school. At first, we were just arguing with each other until someone else came to try to provoke me. At first I ignored it because this problem had nothing to do with him. However, the more I didn't care, the more he talked and yelled at me, at that time I felt angry and approached him, he felt like he was a master and challenged me to hit him if I dared, but I ignored it and told him to be quiet because this was none of his business.
At first he started to be quiet but when I turned around he taunted me again, because I was starting to get emotional I turned around telling him to be quiet while pushing him backwards. The next incident was beyond my expectations, at that time he immediately came forward and attacked me but I still managed to parry him, I also didn't stay silent and immediately attacked him and managed to land a few punches on him. but our fight was interrupted by friends who were there and it ended in a bit of a mess but not too bad for me. Then I chose to go and leave him there. At that time I felt a little satisfied because I could fight with him, because from the beginning I was very annoyed to see him.
Maybe it was a bad day for me because the teacher found out about our fight and at that time we were called to the teacher's room. I was a bit late getting there when I arrived I already saw my opponent was there. I was told to come in and the teacher immediately said “look what you are doing, why are you hitting other people like this” the teacher said as if I was the one who started the fight at that time. It was not me who initially looked for the problem, I just solved the problem, even though the method I did was wrong, but it was not me who started this problem. I explained all that to the teacher but from what he said the teacher looked less convinced maybe because I had a not very good image at school. If we only asked the two of us, we would only be defending ourselves, so at that time I suggested to the teacher to ask other friends who were there so that this problem would be clearer. The teacher agreed and went to our class to ask the students there. When the teacher returned, we were only given directions and gave us a lecture not to fight and told us to make up there. Even though the teacher at that time did not state who was at fault for our fight, from the look on his face and his gaze I knew that the teacher was not blaming me anymore because when he returned from class earlier his words no longer cornered me and he only gave us a warning not to repeat it again.
Maybe that's all the story of my experience on this occasion, I hope it can entertain all readers. Sorry if there are errors in writing or in the spelling of words that are not quite right. Thank you very much for your visit, have a nice day all of you.
