How are you all friends, have a nice day. on this occasion I want to share a little story with all of my friends, hopefully it can cheer you all up.
This time it coincided with a contest held by HiVE Learners about "Success Stories". I will tell you about a patience that brings success.
This story is about a family that has 4 children, a simple family who lives well, his father is a manual laborer whose income is uncertain, and his mother does not work but only takes care of the house. But they aspire to make their children live better than those who are just workers.
I am the first child of the family. When I graduated from high school, I wanted to continue to a college in a city far from where I live. My parents were very supportive of my desire, so I took the college entrance selection test at that time I majored in English because it was one of my hobbies at school.
From the results of the test, I was declared not to have passed, at that time I felt sad and did not want to go to college anymore. However, my parents continued to encourage me to take the college test in my area. The important thing is that I continue to study and not be discouraged. Finally I tried to take the college entrance test in my area and majored in Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) because here there is no English department and the PGSD major is a major that has good accreditation so I tried to enter there.
I was pessimistic that I would pass there because when I took the test I saw a lot of people taking the test there too. But fate said otherwise I passed the test and entered college. I feel very happy even though this is not my dream major but I am happy to be able to make my parents proud for being willing to follow their advice.
The lectures that I went through went smoothly and I was one of the smartest students in my room because I continued to study hard and did not want to waste the opportunity that was given to me by my parents who had worked so hard to pay for my studies. I want to make them proud by getting good grades, so that their struggles are not in vain.
Long story short, I finally graduated and became one of the graduates who got cum laude predicate. Thanks to my hard work during college, I was able to make my parents proud when my parents graduated and they were proud to hear my name being called and become one of the best graduates. I feel very happy and very grateful to be able to make my parents proud of me.
Our desires are not necessarily what is best for us. God knows best what is best for us. Never get discouraged even though our desires have not been achieved, God has the best plan that has been prepared for us. We just need to be patient and keep fighting to the best of our ability.
I hope my story can entertain all of my friends. Be an inspiration for us to keep trying and never give up with circumstances. There must be a way that is best for all of us. Have a nice day, success for all of us
