The stress and challenges of life we face every day can make one think of waking up one morning, forgetting everything, and simply travelling to the end of the world. One thing I would love to do with my time and resources is to travel around my country, visiting and exploring its beautiful sites, such as the Gurara Falls in Niger state, the Obudu Cattle Ranch in Cross River, or the National War Museum in Umuahia.
It is amazing what a person can do when they have time, money, and good health, when you are not tired of a job that requires your physical presence every day, but instead, you have your time and can work from anywhere. For me, this will be seen as a precious gift and will be utilised efficiently, travelling from place to place.
As much as I like my space, I don't really fancy staying in one place for a long time. I love visiting new places, exploring the beauty of my motherland, which is something I have so longed to do. Visiting the beautiful waterfalls in the country, talking about the hills and mountains, visiting old towns and cities like the old city of Oyo. Among the many things that are stopping me from taking a solo trip includes lack of financial capability, which boils down to not having put it in my plans of things to do as a result of a lack of time and also the growing issues of insecurity in the country, one should have enough for flights rather than travelling by road, before one might feel a bit safe from the happenings on the roads. Being able to take a solo trip warrants an individual to have something saved up for the trip's expenses; one would really need enough to make a fantastic memory out of the experience, and without this financial backing, it is impossible to embark on such a trip.
I know about a person who will usually set aside a time of the year for solo trip's travelling country to country, this fellow is enable to do this because he has planned for such journey and has been saving from his income for the time for which he will embark on his journey, aside the financial backing, he also has the time, since he works practically remotely, he has the time to travel and meet up with work at the same time.
Taking solo trips in the end may be very feasible in developed nations, not like a nation like ours, since there are a lot of hindrances that might prevent one from even thinking about it, or enjoying the trip at the end. To me, being able to take a Solo trip is a luxury at this time, but at any time of my life when it is no longer a luxury, and it becomes safer, solo trips will be a thing I most put good use of my time doing.
