Having health insurance is a blessing. I could remember last year when I lost my insurance, and I was ill almost every month, that was when I realised the cost of health care and the importance of my health insurance and how much it has saved me. Even the primary health care provided by the federal government can sometimes be unaffordable for the poor.
My neighbour's child was sick, and we decided to take the child to the hospital for treatment rather than just buying him medication at the pharmacy, after he was attended to. It was time for payment, the amount we thought it was going to cost us was multiplied by five, at first I was so surprise why the hospital bll will be that expensive, even with the fall in the economy and putting it in consideration that is to say that I had already multiplied the cost by five times. We still spent five of what we had budgeted.
Insurance is basically having yourself covered for unforeseen circumstances like health problems, fire, flood, accidents, and even the event of a date. At some points in my life, I never understood the need for insurance, not until I met business individuals who had their shops burnt to the ground as a result of a fire outbreak, causing them to lose everything to the fire. For those who had bought fire insurance for their business, they had their insurance to go back to and start all over, while those who had no insurance lost their source of livelihood. I saw insurance as a scheme the rich use to reap or make money from the poor, but I had a better understanding of the importance of owning insurance for people who are businessmen.
A person who has also bought life insurance for himself will cover and protect his family from suffering in the case of his death, His family will have him to thank, beimg that he has provided for them even at death, although some of this insurance companies are sometimes not easy to deal with when it comes to make payments to customer claims i strongly recommended that people opt in for insurance.
My health insurance which i spoke about earlier has saved me a lot of money, because i have a health insurance, i never worry about money when i fall ill, i just put on my clothing and go to the hospital to receive treatment. Without my health insurance I had spent a lot of money on hospital bills, monies that would have been used for something else if my insurance was active was used at the hospital to pay bills.
Car insurance for instance will have your car coverage for accident, when your car is involved in an accident, it has the insurance company paying for the cost of repairs, leaving you with the money you have.
A friend of mine was usually feeling frustrated about paying his car insurance not until he needed to make a repair on his car and the amount was huge, luckily for him he has an insurance coverage and the vehicle was fixed without having to deep his hands in his pocket for money.
Insurance is a great policy that helps you save face, imagine a family member falls sick and you don't have enough money for treatment, or your car breaks down which is your only mode of transport but you dont have enough to fix it. With insurance all of these are minor issues and the cost of it will be covered by your insurer, having you happy and satisfied without deeping into your pocket.
It is important to have an insurance, be it health insurance for your personal wellbeing, fire insurance for your business or even home, or even a life insurance, this may not have an immediate benefit but in a long run it sure does.
