May 2026 has been a pretty wild ride for us, especially if you’re holding Ethereum (ETH). If you take a look at the daily charts, you can tell that ETH is going through a bit of a rough patch.

As you can see, ETH has been stuck in a bit of a tug of war. That Supply zone up top is acting like a massive ceiling, and that FVG area is just there to remind us of the crazy moves we’ve seen lately. Right now, price is just hanging out near some important support. It feels like the market is holding its breath deciding whether to bounce back or slide a bit further. If you’re trading, it’s probably best to just stay patient and watch those levels, no need to rush things while the market is still trying to figure itself out.
Big Changes at Home
But honestly, the drama on the charts isn’t even the most interesting part. The real talk right now is about what’s going on inside the Ethereum Foundation.

Vitalik Buterin just dropped some news that really caught everyone’s attention. He basically said that the Ethereum Foundation is changing how it works. Why does this matter to us? Well, it’s a big move toward true decentralization. The whole point is to make sure Ethereum doesn't rely on just one person or one group to run the show. It’s a bit of a shift, and it’s definitely a new era for the project.

Seperti yang bisa kamu lihat, ETH lagi terjebak dalam aksi tarik ulur. Zona Supply di atas sana bertindak seperti langit langit yang susah ditembus, dan area FVG itu cuma jadi pengingat betapa liarnya pergerakan pasar akhir akhir ini. Sekarang, harganya lagi nongkrong di dekat level support penting. Rasanya pasar lagi menahan napas lagi nunggu kepastian apakah bakal rebound atau justru meluncur lagi ke bawah. Kalau kamu lagi trading, mending sabar dulu dan pantau terus level level kunci itu, nggak perlu buru-buru ambil keputusan pas pasar lagi cari arah kayak gini.

Tapi jujur saja, drama di grafik itu sebenarnya belum seberapa dibanding apa yang lagi terjadi di balik layar Ethereum Foundation. Kabar yang paling hangat sekarang adalah soal apa yang lagi dirombak di dalam organisasi itu.

Vitalik Buterin baru saja melempar kabar yang cukup menyita perhatian banyak orang. Dia bilang kalau Ethereum Foundation bakal berubah cara kerjanya. Intinya, dia mau pelan pelan mengurangi pengaruhnya di jajaran pengurus. Ide besarnya? Dia pengen Foundation itu cuma jadi satu node atau bagian kecil saja dalam ekosistem yang luas bukan jadi bos atau koordinator utamanya.
Kenapa ini penting buat kita? Soalnya ini langkah besar menuju desentralisasi yang sesungguhnya. Tujuannya jelas: supaya Ethereum nggak bergantung sama satu orang atau satu kelompok saja buat menjalankan operasionalnya. Ini transisi yang lumayan besar, dan jelas ini era baru buat proyek ini.
Oh iya, sempat ada juga kabar soal beberapa peneliti senior yang memutuskan keluar dari Foundation bulan ini. Mungkin ada yang mikir ini pertanda buruk, tapi di dunia proyek open source, orang keluar masuk itu hal yang biasa banget. Anggap saja itu bagian dari proses regenerasi.
Kesimpulannya, bulan Mei ini isinya penuh dengan perubahan mulai dari grafik harga yang bikin pusing sampai perubahan struktur organisasinya sendiri.
