Every one of us wants freedom and that is our right. We are being taught in schools about fundamental rights and about fundamental freedom. We all have the right to freedom of speech and expression. We have learnt this from our ancestors who didn’t enjoyed this freedom at that time but were called freedom fighters and because of them, we are living a happy and freedom life. Who else can know better than us the true meaning of freedom, only those who have fought and sacrificed their lives to earn this freedom.
After having this freedom, we still need to make laws, constitutions, rules and regulations to follow and that is for our own good. Yes, it is true that too much of freedom and liberty can lead to destruction. Not everyone has same thinking and mindsets, well, I can rely on myself only that I am a good person and with all excessive liberty, I can handle things well but I am unable to guarantee the same even for my own child.
If there is no boundary to freedom, evil minds can do whatever they want which could lead to violence. Apparently, which means not everyone can enjoy the freedom and only a few people with power and evil mind will rule the other innocent people. I would take my example in this case, I had too much of freedom in Egypt when I was there with my parents. No elder bro was there to stop me for anything. Still as I said, I am a good person, I didn’t fall for any bad habits or deeds but yes, I enjoyed my freedom with some of my own limitations. I started drinking too much of soft drink, it was like instead of water, I used to drink cola. When my elder bro was there and he saw all this, he asked my Mother to stop me from doing so or it will be too dangerous for me. This is just an example of myself so just think if people are set full free, they can even damage the whole environment and atmosphere in the greed to earn more and more.
Another example of myself, when I was in school, there were too many restrictions and I always wanted to go to college where there is freedom. But honestly speaking, when I went to college and didn’t find any rules and regulations, it was totally up to me to attend the class or do whatever I want to, I didn’t enjoyed that freedom for long. In fact, it damaged my reputation of being a good student and slowly, i turned into a worst student. This is true and because of that, I had to skip the exams because I was not well prepared.
In the end, I would say and accept that freedom is good but with limitations. Too much freedom could lead us all to be selfish, greedy, uncivilized society. Just look at that bird which is free to fly everywhere, we sometimes sees it as wow they have so much freedom but still they can fly to some limit, crossing that limit could cause some serious damage but they know it very well and never cross their limits. we are talking about an animal here, even they know their limits so human being, who are the world’s best creature, should also know their limitations in state of freedom.
