As we have heard time without number too much of everything is bad. Yes, it’s bad because of the consequences it can have when it becomes a norm. Growing up, we’ve been told that we have our rights but with those rights comes a lot of responsibilities. Yes, you have the right to speak freely but it shouldn’t be a point where you have to abuse someone, that’s where it becomes your responsibility to control what you say.
So we are in a world where a lot of us think we have our rights and we should be free to decide how we go about those rights. But what are the consequences when we are given too much freedom to a point where it suffocates others.
With everything we have advantages and disadvantages and when we access the situation and the disadvantages become more than the advantages then it becomes a very big problem.
Some of the advantages of being free is that we get don’t have to be forced to accept certain things. It’s not a hidden secrete that we are in a democratic world but nothing feels democratic most of the time. We all look like puppets to the government of our countries and are only useful to them when they need our votes. A free world will mean a world without rules, a world where you decide what you do with your life and not following a certain path.
One other advantage of a free world is that it allows out to grow beyond our reach. Yes, this sound similar to the first point but it’s different. When we are free we don’t have to think of the consequences of our actions we do and then we do again until it’s good enough.
Yes, the advantages of a free world are appealing but then what happens negatively when we do have a free world.
A free world is cool, but will it be really free if no one is held accountable for his bad deeds against his fellow. We are in a world where a lot of bad things happens to people. A free world will mean people can do as they please as they won’t be held accountable or have to answer to a higher authority for doing what they have done. This won’t be good as it will cause a lot of treachery in the world.
Another disadvantage of a free world is that crime rates will spike through the roof. Why do we think some people don’t do bad? It’s because they know they will have to answer or pay for what they have done eventually. Now, with a world where no one is held accountable for the crimes they commit, it will mean the crime rate will only go higher and higher. That’s not what we all want to happen.
Being free has its advantages but being totally free is not the way to go. The laws we see today were set by we humans so it’s normal for some of them to look a bit hash as we are not perfect ourselves. But these laws are there to keep us in check. And they are doing well even though not always.
