Hi guys,
Ever wondered who came up with music or how it ever came into being? I’ve always wondered how we ended up falling inlove with sounds that have been mixed up and then we suddenly dance to the tune or we in turn use then to show the type of mood we are in.
We all have our opinions and preferences about the type of music we will like to listen to. This is because we are humans and as humans we are so different. Liking one thing has never been in our DNA. This is why we have people who Idolise tailor swift so much but then we have people who think that tailor swift is overhyped. I for one will never understand why or how the comparison between Taylor swift and Micheal Jackson ever came to being.
I say this cause I grew up listening to Michael Jackson and I can still admit that I listen to his songs from time to time and there is just something about his songs. I am not here to choose who is the better of the two, I am just making my preference known. I think listening to Jackson as a kid definitely has me being biased to choosing him. But I still love a few of Taylor swift songs as well.
I listen to music depending on my mood. In my room I mostly listen to old songs. I mean music which were realised in the early 2000s cause I seem to like their beat and choice of words. For some reason I think the new arts don’t make music like they were before. I can’t really blame them. Apart from the fact that they love doing music, music is also their source of income. So before they can think about just doing what they like they need to think about putting food on their table first before they can do what ever they like.
They are forced to follow the trend cause they have to adjust to what the audience like to make it. I’ll always use Rema as an example. Rema is an artist who is known for love songs. Recently he released Ozeba which is not like his regular songs. I feel like he had to release a song like that cause it the current trend. Don’t get me wrong, with or without those type of songs Rema is whoever he thinks he is. But then I feel like because it’s the normal trend now everyone is hopping on it and Rema didn’t want to be left out.
I’ll admit that I listen to that song once in a while when I am in a goofy mood. When I am in a work mood I prefer songs that are soothing. Soothing songs clear out the noise in the background for me and helps me concentrate. Having goofy songs will easily take away my focus which is not what I want. When I am playing spl I actually don’t care the type of music that is playing as it’s just games and vibes at that moment.
What works well for you? Do you even need music in your life to do anything?
