Greetings!
One thing that has plunged society into uncertainty in life is harassment. People on so many occasions have been harrassed just because they are doing what they feel it's right to do.
Bullying is a one form of harassment which is now prevalent amongst both the young and the old in the society and it's really cost so many people's life as some people who can not withstand the gravity of being harrassed have taken their own lives.
Having said this, I would like to delve into the topic of today's prompt which is all about, “Online vs Physical.”
Well, one thing that is sacrosanct in this is that bullying is bullying either online or physical, there's no other nomenclature to it than harassment.
However, even as they are, both still have a slight difference and the difference here is that, one can go viral while the other can be limited within the locality where it happens.
Physical bullying or harassment is the kind that happens physically and might be tougher atimes. I have seen people being harassed physically in the public space without them being allowed to tell their own story. Sometimes, they are being injured and molested. It's somehow pathetic and like I said earlier, it's taken away lives, I mean this harrassment of a thing.
Also, the online harassment of a thing has brought about shame and stigma to the lives of people. Whenever I see people on social media attacking others, I used to feel for such souls.
People are being dragged or called out on social media for what they know nothing about. Although, there are some people that are guilty of the offenses they were being called out for, but notwithstanding, it's not in the hand of any individual to judge or harrass anyone even, if guilty.
So, since no one is permitted to judge or take a precise action on the activities of others except the law enforcement agency, then anyone found guilty of harassing others both off and online should be properly punished under the law.
Furthermore, another thing is that, majority of those who judge others just because of their deeds are also to be judged if searched or investigated vividly. So, who now appoints them to be a judge in others matter when they are not even innocent of what they are harassing others for.
So, since the law is in place, I think the wrath of the law should be adequately metted out on those who harrass others both physically or onlineand moreso, I would advise those who are always harassing others to take caution as they are not assigned to be a judge in other people's matter through which they mow harrass others when they claim to be innocent of what they are harassing others for.
In conclusion, both the physical and the online harrassment are not good and people should desist from harassing others while the law takes its full course.
