Greetings!
A life without money is an empty life as the bible even says, “money answereth all things.” What this means is that with money, so many things would be done, but without it, it would be kind of difficult to get things done.
However, I'm not of the school or opinion that money gives or brings about happiness. Like I said earlier, money is good and that's just the truth. But, can it guarantee our happiness? My answer to this is a capital NO.
Having said this, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt which is all about, “Money=Happiness.”
To me, money is not equal to happiness. If money is equal to happiness, people should not have been looking or chasing after money, but what we have now is that of people looking for money even when they have amassed enough for themselves and their unborn generations.
One thing that I want us to know is that human want is insatiable which means nothing can meet human want except death. It's not as if we humans want death as such, but because we have no choice, it comes to us and just because of this,we have found ourselves in a situation where we chase money till death. Can you imagine an aged man still not happy at his old age just because he has not amassed more wealth than what he has amassed.
So is the situation money has brought us and this is not the ideal situation we should have been if money is the source of happiness.
One thing that I have come to realise is that nothing can give us happiness in life more than ourselves. We are the source of our own happiness and another thing that I want us to know is that, happiness cannot be bought but can be generated from within by individuals.
Happiness is personal and no one is too rich, nor too poor to be happy as happiness is not equal to money.
As humans all we must crave for is our own happiness not to be hijacked by others. People are always out there to steal our happiness, but we are the custodian of our live and happinesss.
I have seen a rich man and his family doing well financially but not happy and at the end every scattered and the man lost his life even with his money and financial capacity which means money though good and mighty but not equal to happiness.
Also, I have seen a poor man and his family doing fine even without them having a financial capacity. If money is happiness, no rich man should be depressed not to talk of falling sick to the point of death where money would not be able to save his life.
In conclusion nothing in this life is and can be compared to happiness as happiness reign supreme over every other things in his life.
