I became eager to share my experience in blogging with everyone as soon as a dear friend invited me to be a part of the Blogging Experience Contest
So, let's dive in.
Primitively
I love writing. Ever since I was little. It was a way of me impacting my world and pouring my heart out to it of which I never had the courage to stand in front of to speak to because I was an introvert while growing up. I spoke in my writings; though most of them never transited from my mind down to paper.
I first started hearing about blogging in the year 2014/15. There was a lot of hype about it back then especially when a millionaire female Nigerian blogger named Linda Ikeji emerged whose blog was one of the most popular in the country at the time.
Consequently, I wished to be a blogger but never made any actions toward it. Often, I'll have the desire to create content about something but most of those writings never made it to the Internet though a few of them did. I always knew that I had this "thing" in me. I could feel it right in my gut but I didn't know exactly how to come about it.
I officially started blogging when I joined the Hive Community. I felt that finally this was my opportunity to
fulfill my desires of impacting people with my writings and also overcome the writer's block that I usually had anytime I was writing a piece of content (as I stated in my introductory post)
MY BLOGGING TOOLS?
That's my smartphone majorly. There is a certain feel in me when I use my it which is different from when using my PC. Though Google auto-correct and replace can be a real pain when penning down an extensive piece and therefore requires a lot of editing but because of the electricity issues in my city, my Smartphone is my only resort.
MY BLOGGING INSPIRATION AND PROCEDURE?
They are:
The Holy Spirit and God's Word- Originally, this is my #1 inspiration. Most times, He's the author and I'm just the writer.
My Blogging procedure also starts in my mind with pictures and words coming into my heart. Then I pen down; adding pictures where necessary.
Concepts- more like spicy topics inspire my work.
Events I attend online or onsite , life experiences also give me a head start in my writings.
ULTIMATELY
My experience in blogging so far has been worthwhile and amazing. I'm really looking forward to greater results and even testimonies in blogging.
You might be wondering, "how do I begin?" Just ask yourself these questions: What drives me? What are my values?"
The answer to these questions lie within you and are the key to start making great content that'll garner the attention and value of the world. You are a person of value, so start releasing those hidden treasures of content locked up inside you.
I'd like to seize the opportunity to invite my friends here to share their great blogging stories and experience
...Till next time, keep the fire burning.
