They say, money speaks and we live in a world and time where people chase money and all the wonderful things it can buy causing so many to go in the wrong path because the voice of the poor isn't heard. Although, there are things money falls short of; things it cannot buy and that is life and peace.
No matter the amount of money I am offered, even a whooping 1 million dollars, there are a number of things that I can never condescend to do or even think of doing. They may seem extreme but we all have our principles and values so, these are they:
1.Have Sexual Relations With A Man
The way that some ladies have lost their self respect to men because of money have made men think that they can have any lady of their choice with their big pockets or seem to be big pockets.
When I was growing up, about 17 years old, this time I was done with my Secondary School education (High School) when I had an unpleasant but funny encounter with a man who was old enough to be my Father.
He sent his P.A to take my number when (I was trying to be respectful) our paths crossed and no sooner than two days had he taken my number that he began disturbing me to come see him and this he did through the said P.A.
His frequent calls became a nuisance to me. He told me that his "Oga" (boss) had the money to take care of me and give me whatever I need by just naming it if I just go out with him..
I was so disgusted by this and warned him never to call me again if not I would have him arrested.
This what what scared him away. The man had gotten his way with any lady he wished and thought I was "one of them" seeing the fact that he was too big to talk to me by himself but had to use an errand boy. How awful...
I will not devalue myself because of a million dollars, no never!!!
2. Dress Indescently
Like I said, my principles may seem extreme to some but they are what have guided me to come thus far in life so I will continue to abide by them.
I respect myself so much. I am not the fan of exposing my private property to strangers because I have been trained and taught that I am a King and Kings dress with dignity, honour because of their royalty. They array themselves in grace and beauty and I wouldn't go below this standard for all the money in the world.
3. Cheat
I would return the least change of $0.06 to a vendor who I purchased a product from. That's how honest I am and have decided to be and the times I forget to, I get so troubled about it until I return it.
Finally great minds,
Set standards for yourself, become a person of integrity and dignity that cannot bend to substandard levels despite the amount of gold offered you.
