This time I want to display one of the beautiful ornamental plants with contrasting colors, namely Canna 'Yellow King Humbert'.
In my place in Indonesia, this Canna flower 'Raja Kuning Humbert' is called 'Flower Tasbih'. But there are also those who call it Canna flower according to its genus.
Canna flower is one of the flowers that attracts attention because it has a contrasting color, namely yellow mixed with red, making this flower one of the focal points of the eye when looking at a flower garden in which there are Canna flowers.
Morphologically, this flower has a rhizome root and green stem with leaf midrib covering each other with single leaves arranged in short stalks with flowers that appear at the end of the stem with round fruit and are often used as prayer beads in my place. Therefore, here people refer to this Canna flower as a prayer beads because in the past the seeds were often used as prayer beads, but now they are rarely used.
I took this Canna flower using my old smartphone while chatting with friends in a park. Before leaving I took some photos, because my meeting with my friend was short. Then we left.
