Good-day everyone, hope you all had a funfilled weekend, I am glad to be part of the Second Edition of Newbies Initiative 2022, thanks for giving me this opportunity, I never hold it lightly. Our first task is to state My Hive Goals and how I intend to go about achieving the Goals, I hope to do justice to it to the best of my knowledge.
BENEFITS OF SETTING GOAL
- Through setting of Goals, we have a specific direction of where to channel our strength and focus to.
- It also serves as a means of Motivation, because it becomes a challenge that we wish to conquer.
- With Goal set, we tend to have a purpose to life, it pushes us to live each day and give us a target to focus on.
- Having a goal makes it easy for us when making decision making, this is because our goal influences the step and action we take.
- Setting goals aside helping in making decision also help us to identify what is important and what isn't.
MY GOAL
Hive power :- It was one of the thing of note that was made mentioned by 
Presently my #HP is 109.4 and I intend to grow it within the stipulated time of this program to 300 #HP.
Followers :- Having Follower implies that I am interactor with mine fellow Hivers, building a connection and link thereby creating a broadbase, as at this task I am followed by 49 individuals and I hope to been followed by 100 people within the time frame of the second edition of Newbies Initiative.
Engagement:- As a newbies I do comment on peoples post and even make replies to comment on my post also, but it seems to be one end comment which doesn't foster engagement and have a good rapor with those consigned, but through this initiative, the lecture and adjoining post detailing how to maintain a meaningful engagement, I hope to improve and be more interactive. My engagement is at 396 but I will be building it to 800 comments God helping me.
Consistency :- I haven't been posting on my blog, but this time around I have decide to make a turn around be more consistent by making at least 5 post per week.
Other:- My Reputation on is at 58 and within the time frame if the Newbies Initiative I hope through consistent posting and engagement with fellows on Hive to build it to 65. My Voting Power is 0.002* I hope to move it higher,so that my engagement will push any content I interact with forward.
STRATEGIES TO ACHIEVING MY GOALS
Hive-Power:- In other to meet up with the 300 #HP target, I need additional 190.6 to the existing #HP I have. To do achieve this I will have to post quality content and be consistent with it, aside this, my content has to be posted in the right community that suit such post with pictures from approved websites.
Followers:- People naturally tends to follow those who follow them, so I will make it a duty to follow people with contents thats captivating, also through posting of quality content on my blog, it will attract people and lure them to add up to my followers, throught this I hope to gain 51 more followers to meet my target of 100-followers
Engagement:- My goal as touching Comments is 800*, I need to to make 406 more comments within the 7 weeks within which this program runs. To do this I intend to ststrting from today make at least 10 meaningful and interactive comments on peoples post and as replies to comment on my post, through this the target will be achieved.
Consistency:- Previously I am unstable in posting content on my blog this due to spending most of my free time on social media platform that add no value, but this time around I will channeling those time and more to creat meaningful content on Hive to do my own quarter in improving the system.
Others:- Through been consistent in posting quality content and making interactiive comments on peoples post, I hope to boost my Reputation and Voting power.
HINDERANCES/OBSTACLES TO ACHIEVING MY GOALS
First and foremost, my work have been an hinderance to how consistent I should have been on Hive, I am a Building Contractor, I live home early and comes back late. So most time I am very tired to creat content or comment on peoples post.
Secondly, Power Holding Company, are truly holding the power, Electricity is unstable, so most times I depend on generator for power, fueling the generator comes at a cost too.
Also to create quality content I need enough time, and my family also requires I spend time with them, this becomes a tussle atimes, that I have to share my time in-between them, so that non is affected.
All been said, I would like to say a big thank you to the organizer of this initiative for Newbies, it's timely and of utmost importance as you guide,ginger and mentored us through Hive. Thanks to
