Freedom is one of those things youth can't wait to have, been free to do whatever we want.
Meanwhile, we must be very careful of how we utilize our moment of freedom.
The first time I left home for good to be on my own was when I gained admission to higher institution around 2011/2012.
Of course virtually everyone knows what school life is like, is it the lecture wahala we want to mention, or the exam tension, lecturers wahala, buying of handout, assignments, presentations, projects, roommate wahala, peer pressure etc there are so many things to talk about but I would just pick few of the things mentioned.
- Peer pressure
During my first two years in school I rolled with the ladies men... Guys that has at least two ladies each as their girlfriends, I really don't know how they manage those girls without resulting to problem.
But for me as a church boy, who do not even have time for ladies especially in my 100level, but getting to 200level my friends influence me and they succeeded.
They would always persuade me to walk up to ladies and ask them out but I always refused, one faithful day they set me up with one babe in our department they had toast her already on my behalf, surprisingly she walk up to me and told me she had agreed to be my girlfriend. I was short of words, though she was my kind of girl and my friends knew I like the girl from onset and so because of this I decided to play along. And that's how we bacame lover birds for sometime and then went our separate ways.
- Roommate
My roommate in school was indeed a very good guy I can't deny that fact but the only issue we do have each time is the aspect of cooking... We are two like poles that repels. We both know how to cook but we don't like cooking, due to this, we usually go on hunger strike in the long run we found solution to the cooking issue and everything end well.
All through this times, I learnt to know the kinds of friends to keep.
