If not because the contest states that we can create cure for only one disease, I would have love to create cure for all the diseases on earth, because I don't like seeing someone or myself suffering from any disease whatsoever.
Battling with disease is not an easy thing anybody would like to experience, whenever I have malaria or typhoid I know how I usually feel, I detest getting sick talkless of dealing with an untreatable disease.
Selecting a particular disease which I can create cure for is a very hard task for me as there are numerous diseases disturbing the earth which our medical personnel's are yet to find cure for.
Nevertheless if an opportuned to create cure for only one disease then it would be Diabetes. Why do I pick diabetes, the reason being that I have few friends and relatives that are still battling with the disease.
Diabetes is a chronic disease that occurs either when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. Diabetes still remains incurable, one can only stay in remission for a long time with adequate treatment. i.e the manifestations of the disease can only be lessened, cannot be cured permanently.
The disease had claimed so many lifes and still claiming life's, so finding a cure to it would be a very happy thing for me. My friends and relatives that are battling with diabetes would also be free of using drugs every now and then. Moreso, I'll be a hero having finding solution to one of the biggest challenges disturbing the world.
