MY EASTER
Easter is a Christian feet commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter is really a good time of sober reflection, Life renewal and time to increase our Faith and hope in God. A time of almsgiving, fasting and praying. The journey started on Ash Wednesday which lasted for a period of 40days.As a Catholic we always go for Friday stations of the cross and on one of the Fridays being the 25th, March Act of consecration was made to the immaculate heart of Mary for peace on countries in war.
One week before Easter was holy week and the Sunday palm Sunday when we joined in singing hosanna to the Lord
On Wednesday was one of late church members 4years death Anniversary and we were there to pay her last respects and console with the family.
On Thursday started the journey which was holy Thursday or Maundy Thursday, that day was the day remembering the institution of the holy Eucharist and holy priesthood. Also the day of washing the disciples feet.
Down to Good Friday which was the day of the death of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary for our Sins which is supposed to be a bad Friday but the death was for our redemption from sins. Our journey was supposed to start by 3:30 with stations of the cross but mine started with 3.00 divine Mercy prayer after then was mass.
Saturday was holy Saturday which mass was to start by 10.pm. Me and my Children in Altar decorators made a wonderful Easter Altar for the Easter Celebration
We went to church and the mass was very superb and people received the Sacrament of adult baptism the mass ended we renew our Baptismal vows. At the end of the mass we wished one another happy Easter and went back to our different homes.
THE D_DAY
On Easter Sunday we woke up to a bright day, after my morning prayers we started the cerebration cooking. During cooking a call came in from my dad for us to go and buy our local palm wine.I went to the market it was really colourful, filled with many people.

May the Messiah Suffering, Crucifixion,Death and Resurrection foster Love, Oneness, peace and Upright Life in Our Homes,in our country and in the whole world. May Christ Jesus Live our shame, sorrows in the tomb and rise with Long Life and Prosperity, Joy and Favour in Jesus Mighty Name Amen.
