so i was sitting outside today just random normal moment nothing special and for some reason my phone started acting like it knew what i was thinking. same type of videos same topics same ads like everywhere. and i just sat there like ok this is getting a bit weird now or maybe im just overthinking.
anyway i ignored it but it stayed in my head while i was drinking chai outside a small shop. fan moving slowly noise of people talking in background. normal stuff. and im just there thinking what actually comes after all this tech we already using daily.
like smartphones already feel too normal now. nobody even gets excited anymore. it just exists in hand all the time. camera messages maps ai apps everything inside one thing. it kind of swallowed everything slowly without us noticing.
and ai too same thing. at first it felt like wow moment now its just there like ok yeah it can do that also. we moved on too fast from being surprised.
i remember yesterday i was walking and almost bumped into a guy because he was fully locked into his screen. not even looking up once. and i just thought like this is normal now for everyone. a bit scary but also normal.
so what next then. glasses maybe. or something you dont even hold anymore. just see things in air like directions text info everything just floating in front of eyes. sounds cool but also feels like too much honestly.
or maybe no screen at all. just voice or signals or something invisible doing everything for you. you dont even open apps anymore. things just happen when you think about them. i dont even know how to explain it properly but yeah something like that.
i was trying to open my gallery today while eating and my hands were messy and i still kept tapping screen like always and i suddenly felt why is everything still touch based like this is already old feeling even though its not actually old.
maybe future tech is not bigger or more shiny maybe its just less visible like it hides in background and you stop noticing it completely just life running with tech inside it.
but then again humans are weird we still like holding phones checking screens scrolling even when we dont need to so maybe nothing fully disappears it just changes shape slowly.
ai already did that kind of quietly no big moment it just entered everything and now we dont even think about it much.
anyway i dont know sitting here now chai finished phone still buzzing for no reason and sky getting darker and i feel like whatever comes next is probably already starting we just not calling it future yet.
