In my opinion, first aid training is the need of the hour. In many emergency situations, timely first aid can be the difference between life and death. Actions like CPR or stopping severe bleeding can keep a person alive until medical professionals arrive. Basic first aid can prevent a minor injury from becoming a major one. For example, it can stop a wound from becoming infected or an injury from worsening while waiting for professional help. Training in first aid gives you the knowledge and confidence to act decisively in a stressful situation. This composure is vital when providing care and can help reduce confusion and panic in an emergency.
I am not an expert in medical assisitance, but do know some of the basics to prevent getting a minor issue into a major one. I can take care the wound, burning cases, or certain fracture. I remember an instance when an old lady from.my neighbourhood caled me to help her in absence of her husband, she had minor attack, but my timely rubbing help the case to stop worsening. I took her to the hospital, although seeing her condition in was afraid for a second. But her repeating words and trust on me helped me get back my composure. I am yet to get a certificate but helping a needy is a good deeds. If our simple act can help someone to recover then we should do them. Proper first aid can significantly speed up the healing process. By providing appropriate care, such as cleaning a wound or immobilizing a fracture, you can prevent complications and promote a faster return to health. Simple techniques, like applying ice to an injury or using a sling for an arm, can significantly reduce a person's pain and discomfort while waiting for more comprehensive treatment. Having the skills to help others in a time of need provides a great sense of personal satisfaction and empowerment. You become a valuable resource for your loved ones and your community. Knowing first aid makes you more aware of potential risks and hazards, not only for yourself but also for your family and community.
Knowing first aid is critically important because it preserves life by providing immediate care, prevents further harm and deterioration of injuries, promotes recovery by reducing the severity and length of an injury. But make sure you know thr correct technique else you may end up worsening the case.
In good faith - Peace!!
