"Kindness is an inner desire that makes us want to do good things even if we do not get anything in return. It is the joy of our life to do them. When we do good things from this inner desire, there is kindness in everything we think, say, want and do." - Emanuel Swedenborg (Philosopher, Scientist, Theologian)
We are living in at a time, when everyone is busy in their own life. Making their own ends meet are their priority and for that they kept running after money. They hardly take take out time for own family or for others. In the run up for survival we seems to have lost our sense of community. In many part of our society, no one have times for others. Along with the simplicity that is of helping others. There are so many reasons that used to stop people from doing for others.

Developing Connection
The other day, there were group of kids in my village, who happen to say "hi /hello" everyday to me during my walk. We never had any conversation. Few day ago, one of the kids approached me and asked me to give them treat and I happily obliged with some cookies and chips. Seeing the joyful and happy faces, I felt a different kind of inner satisfaction.
We (humans) are social creatures. We need to develop connection with others. Doing one good deed, one small things for someone else, always gurantee a lot happiness and I realized the same philosophy in my act. I did not expected anything in return from them. But that random act of kindness makes me feel lot better. When we do something for someone else, we instantly becomes a part of their happiness, we are part of their well being, we becomes a part of their story. We connect and when we do so, we feel better ourselves. This is why setting up comnection is very important in human life.
One Good Deed.
I am not writing this piece for applauding or complimenting my own deed. But I find inner piece whenever I do anything for other without any kind of expectation from others. It feels pure bliss. If I able to help any person in any form then I felt happy from within. There was a recent instance, when I made a visit to one of my relative. He is good an old person with more than 90 years of age. He is very passionate about learning new things. And when he saw me in Woolen jacket, he asked me "how to zip/ unzip the jackets. He wanted to learn so that he can help himself. And I taught him the process of zipping the jackets. I made him learn with my own hands and once he learnt it , he felt so happy and relived. I missed to capture the smile on his face, but it was so priceless. Seeing him smiling even at such an old age on learning something new is a treat to eye and a good happy moments.*

Many people might have hesitated doing so, as they do not get time or they find it useless. But that particular moment will remain memorsble for me. The little things we do for others does not appears to be big, but such things meant a lot for them. Every day may not be good for us due to various reasons, but the act of one good thing in every day may bring a huge difference in our life.
Treat others as you want to be treated.
This is the basic rule for a civilized living. We have been taught to fair and kind with others. This is the beauty of simple lifestyle. I learned a practical approach to this. When we do something good, we practice joy, and when we practice joy, we build our strength. As such deeds always give us the kick of confidence which is further backed up by happiness.
Good deeds help us to cultivate a sense of responsibility towards others, especially to those who are in need. Being responsible towards others creates a sense of accountability and encourages people to take actions that benefit society as a whole. However the changing lifestyle has made humans to alwsys seek for their own benefit. People are getting mean and selfish and they are not ready to help others unless and until they see their own advantages.
But they forget that their are more better return than monetory or any thing in kind. It's the benefit of good deeds and blessings that we get in return. Every good deeds bring good luck and charm in life.
