The typical retirement age in my country used to be 60 years. It is typically phase of the life when an individual permanently leaves the workforce, ending their primary work career. It is often considered the point where one has sufficient savings or passive income to cover living expenses without working. Retirement involves shifting from earned income to living off accumulated savings, pensions, or social security, often to pursue personal interests, leisure, or hobbies. However with the growing modernization kore people wanted to retire as early as possible to enjoy their life in their own way. But to retire at an early stage require too much planning and secured living source to meet the unwanted expenses.
An individual always does the work to make their daily ends meet and in the process they leave behind their own interest and hobbies. The older generation always wanted to work so that to retire in peace and then enjoy their life, however by the time they reach their retirement stage, their body started giving up. They were not strong enough to carry some life adventure that they always dream off.
Enjoy the freedom to explore all the things you love.
Nowadays, In my country there are many people who went out on leisurely trip around the world to pursue their own area of interest. They leave their high paying jobs to make a life of own interest. People retire early to escape high-stress jobs schedule, regain control over their time, and pursue personal passions like travel or hobbies. Escaping the, traditional 9 to 5 grind allows individuals to live a lifestyle focused on leisure, travel, and personal fulfillment. Many retire early to spend more time with children, spouses, or to care for aging parents.
Don’t simply retire from something; have something to retire to.
I am an early retiree too, due to my parents illness. I left my flying career midway due to the personal issue. It was a tough decision to take however sometimes life throws us in a situation, where there are no option left to choose. I made sure to keep me occupied and I think #hive played a crucial role. I remain active with blogging in my spare time which allows me to keep my brain functioning. Apart from taking care of my Dad is took out time for hive and also to enhance some skills. It is well known facts that An idle mind is the devil's workshop. This is why it is important for an individual to keep their mind occupied with certain things. Keeping our mind busy by engaging in stimulating activities like puzzles (Sudoku, crosswords), learning new skills (languages, instruments), or creative hobbies such as gardening, knitting, or cooking has always proven beneficial.
The world is our oyster now.
During my off time I made sure to enhance some of my skills i learned photography, vlogging and enhanced my English communication through online courses. I believe, that the best way to make use of retirement time is to create a balanced, purposeful routine that blends physical activity, mental stimulation, social connection, and personal passion. Rather than viewing retirement as an end to productivity, it is most effectively used as a new chapter to pursue long held interests, and maintaining good health.
But made sure to have the sufficient bank balance and saving that will allow us to live a mindful life. Afterall, it the phase that meant to enjoy and undertook the passion of life.
In good faith - Peace!!
