When I like to explore the world, I like to go for solo. A Solo trips are uniquely fulfilled due to the fact that we remain the boss. We are not bounded by any other commitment nor bonded by any time limits. We plan, we decide, and we are of our own which makes the trip quite enjoyable and memorable.

I happen to be a solo traveler for long period of time. The idea of solo travelling stuck me after experiencing some awkward moments with my friends. There was place, where they does not wanted to visit the museum, while I like to visit the same. The clash of interest made me to believe in a solo trip. Although it might appears to be an insane idea, but when you wanted to explore all the ifs and bits of a place then nothing could beat a solo trip. Even recently, I went to explore the Street of Varanasi of my own and honestly I enjoyed much than my previous trip. On my earlier visit to the Varanasi I was following my nephew who had some set places to visit. And I left regretting of not exploring the street. This is what made me to visit the place and made sure to cover maximum places on my foot.
If you have to wait for someone to travel with you, you may end up waiting a lifetime
Solo travel allows us to discover our true interests, preferences, and inner strength, often leading to profound personal reflection. Without the distraction of companions, we tend to notice more details of the places, take in surroundings more deeply, and live at the moment. Travelling is all about exploring culture, foods and other things of the place and solo trip simply allow is to be of our own. Navigating challenges alone builds self-reliance, teaching you that we can handle, manage, and enjoy our own company. Without the need to compromise on itineraries, we can fully immerse yourself in new cultures, meet new people, and embrace spontaneous adventures.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone
Although solo trip is quite enjoyable it comes with their own challenges. I remember, I paid excess for one night of accommodation at a hotel. They are not letting the room to solo traveler, due to safety concern. But after letting them talk with my family members they allow me to stay but charged over and above the normal cost. Navigating all the challenges does take a toll in our mind and body. I like travelling through the public transport so that to get to know the roots of the place. I am not in favor of travelling through private car or motor cycle. Driving for long periods without a co-driver leads to boredom and tiredness. It is crucial to take breaks, nap, and avoid driving at night to stay refreshed. Moreover, A mechanical breakdown can be isolating. We must be prepared to handle flat tires, low fuel, or engine issues alone, especially in remote areas.
Collect moments, not things
I personally, believe before setting out on a solo trip, prioritize safety by researching destination, securing travel insurance, sharing our itinerary, and keeping emergency contacts handy. Plan our budget and accommodation in advance (like hostels to meet people), pack lightly, and trust our instincts while staying alert to your surroundings. These are few healthy words that may bring fun to our memorable trips.
In good faith - Peace!!
