Many things happens in life some funny, some interesting, some exciting, some chilling and some that may leave a long lasting trail in life. It happens to me as well. I heard of many ghosts or evil stories. Infact I love watching ghost movies, but nothing gave me any sort of goosebumps or nightmares I never genuinely fjnd them scary. I assume them to be good entertainment piece that showcase the things which never happens in real life. But when some incident happens in life and send shivers down the spine then you have to believe in the existence of some spirits or evils souls around us.

I was born
and bought up in city in an educated family. Being a youth of modern times, like any other city people, I never believed in existence of ghosts or any of evil spirits. I used to go around anywhere, even went out at night too without any fear of being alone. But everything changed with an incident happened in my native place. Though it is not a haunted place but people do believe in black magic or bitches. Any skin disease or pregnancy miscarriage any ill luck were often termed as the effect of these bad people around. Anyhow, my life lesson about ghost is not related to any of them.
I never stayed in my village for longer time duration. In my childhood I make occasional visit mostly accompanied with my dad and during my stay in village, I remain busy playing with my cousins. Hardly ever been left alone. With all the lovely childhood memory and pissed of with city life, I decided to shift to village. Completelly unaware what would be in the offing. The shifting plan back to my village was was a tough and challenging decision. I moved to my native place in 2018. This is a beginning of new phase in my life.
Time has changed..
and all my cousins are settled in other cities. I was the only blok around in the family. While staying in my native, I frequently went out towards the jungle alone for my morning walk. It was a good experience and I was enjoying every bit of fresh air. I was enjoying the new life in middle of the lush green forest and around own people. It did not took me long to get woke from the so called dream life. Hardly, a week passed and I experienced a very unusual and scary incident.
One particular day, I woke up in middle of the night with a loud eerie crying sound of a baby. It was like the baby was sleeping next to me and crying. I woke up from my bed in a fraction of second sweating profusely. The sound was so scary that it made me to sweat. For once I thought it was a dream. I looked around there was no one, but saw a red eye crow staring at me from the open window which was just beside my bed. It was big, too dark, had pointed beak and big redish eye. Watching me fearlesly. Once as he saw me, the crow flew away towards the jungle direction. Like any other would had done, I also pinched myself to realize if it was a dream or I was in real situation. It was in real, and first time I was bit scared.
I didn't sleep that night and keep waiting for the sunrise. I do not wanted to create anykind of nuissance so late at night. Also I was confused how to react to that situation. First time, I have my encounter with something scary. The theory of non existence of spirits and ghost started to run over my mind. Butbactually I was consoling myself.
As the sun rose over the horizon,
first thing i did was to share the whole night ordeal to my uncle. He is a old man in 60's and have been living their since his early days. He is the best man to know what was happening that night. On listening the entire incident, he only told me "not to venture out alone towards the jungle area". He didn't gave any explanation but only gave a stern look on my face. His so called reaction made me bit worried too. The curiosity to know and solve the puzzle is what started to haunt me.
I tried to recall all the time spent in the jungle during the last couple of days. I remember an incident when a black crow was followed me till the village end. Indian crows are generally of two type with a grayish neck while the one has pure black. That day the black crow followed me for almost half an hour, from one tree to another or sometime hovers around me. I never cared.
I shared this with another villager then he shared something very scary things. He told me that jungle is the graveyard for many young kids or boys or newborns who dies due to various reason. They were cremated in the jungle. They were not creamted with proper rituals because they were attained rhe age of adulthood. Hearing this made me to join all the dots. It was one of the soul who followed me to my home. And the eerie sound of the baby was boone other than from those cremated body. The crow was some kind of spirits of the jungle who might assumed me as a new visitor in their territory. And that experince at night was a general warning from.them about the incident happening in there. The child, the crow, everything was real and it was some kind of spirit that kept me haunted for few days. Walking down their is still big task for me. I never goes their unless and untill i have some company along.
It was a scary event in my life, that made me to belive in the existence of souls, spirits or ghosts. You never know how they get to you and in what form. Though never harm anybody but fo warn us in different way. May be mine was a warning signal.
Might be I am unable to express the feeling and incident in a better way-I am not a story teller.
This is a genuine real incident happened to me in 2018. Many assume it to be fiction. But I only know that ghosts, spirits, souls exists in real.
