There is a guy in my village, who did some impulsive buying only to live a luxurious life. He spent money on luxurious item, TV , Fridge, Washing machine and etc. Although there was no requirement of them, still he wanted to live a lavish life and today he is regretting his decision. Rather then mindful spending he overspend of unnecessary item. It is painful to see how the youth generation is marching towards a life that does not require to exist. Higher incomes sometimes give people a greater sense of control over negative events, allowing them to solve daily problems and frustrations more quickly. In my opinion, money provides the tools for comfort, while money is not the only, or most significant, factor in achieving true happiness
When I left job and shifted to village, people called me crazy. Everyone was shocked with my decision. Many of my colleague called it an insane choice. Leaving off the well paid job and a lifestyle that many individual dreamt off is the hardest decision to opt for. But somewhere inside I was pissed away with the glamorous city lifestyle. So I began searching for peace and approach minimalistic approach to life. It was tough choice but since my childhood my parents taught us to be mindful with our spending. We were not adhere to impulsive purchases which results in incorporating sensible choice in life.
It is not what you earn, but what you keep, that builds true wealth
Yhe endless cycle of earning, spending, and working to maintain a certain lifestyle requires a conscious shift in mindset, financial behavior, and lifestyle priorities. It is less about abandoning income and more about controlling the role money plays in our life. True satisfaction doesn't come from a specific, ever-increasing number, but from knowing what is required to live comfortably and happily. Many people like to spend by seeing others in rhe society without bothering about their source and income limits. Often, we work hard to buy items to impress others or fill a void, which is a key component of the rat race. Determining our own definition of success rather than adopting societal standards is the key for a happier life.
It is important that we should stop trying to match the achievements of neighbors or peers. Focussing on self revelation and personal goals is much important. It is noteworthy to mention that, a simple life filled with gratitude for present moments (a warm bed, family, friends) makes us wealthier than chasing more.
In good faith - Peace!!
