Hive has been great learning curve in my life. When I joined #hive *(steem) 8 years ago, I was completely clueless about the platform. At that time, I did not had any prior writing experience neither had any insight about crypto coins. For me crypto mean #bitcoin. But when someone introduced me to the platform by saying that it is more about sharing picture and describing about it. I was sure I could handle it. In-fact I made certain post for my mentor before opening my own account. It was the confidence about describing things in English which prompted me to begin journey in an unknown space.

Confidence in life is a realistic, secure belief in our own abilities, judgment, and capacity to handle challenges. In my case the X factor was confidence about describing any picture. And that confidence helped me to continue my journey for a such long journey. As the journey progressed and I exposed to crypto coins, I again managed to build a small portfolio. The confidence to learn new things and adapt to the new environment helped me writing so far. Confidence is essential for turning potential into achievement, often acting as a key differentiator in career progression and overall happiness.

It happened to me in my professional career, when I went on to learn various software application to carry out my tasks and getting success in the career. A confident individual often emerge as leaders, creating a positive work environment, taking initiative, and inspiring trust and loyalty in others.

No person is born confident in life. Building confidence is a gradual process achieved by taking action, setting small, realistic goals, and facing fears, rather than waiting to feel ready. For example, when we began to ride cycle, it began with pushing it with hands, and then slowly trying to peddle and then sitting the seat to peddle it all along. It will never be easy to ride a bicycle in one go. Building confidence in a new, unfamiliar job requires a "growth mindset," focusing on fast learning rather than perfection. Key strategies include asking specific questions, breaking tasks into manageable goals to achieve small wins, seeking regular feedback, and utilizing mentorship. To get the experience, break large tasks into manageable steps to experience consistent "small wins," which reinforce our belief in our abilities.

Confidence is a genuine, internal state, not just a performance, characterized by self-trust, acceptance of imperfections, and the ability to act despite fear or uncertainty. Real confidence is rooted in self-respect, not in needing external validation or appearing superior to others. Real confidence is different from "fake" or "performed" confidence, which is often a "performance" meant to impress others and can be a sign of insecurity. True confidence is steady and predictable, lacking the "performance" of overconfidence.
