When I was in school. I never liked studying history. It is a complex subject that involves remembering the dates, the events and the facts all were always confusing. It was not me, even many of my friends get fast asleep during the history classes. We even consider History as Mystery. Noone is pretty sure about our exact history. History is a mystery because the past is incomplete, leaving gaps in our knowledge and allowing for different interpretations. When it comes to Indian, there is alwsys a chaos. The country which was plundered and ruled by various ruler, has many hidden facts which were never highlighted in actual.

There are many reason that may account history as Mystery. Historical accounts are interpreted through the lens of the historian, who may have personal, political, or cultural biases. What one historian presents as fact, another may dispute, leading to conflicting narratives. In our school books we have many mention of foreign invaders but we were never told about the Indian hero who fought them. Archaeological finds or documents often lack context, making it difficult to understand their true significance. What seems like a simple artifact might have a complex and unknown meaning. There are historical mysteries that may never be fully solved due to the lack of new evidence. Evidence can be lost to time, destroyed, or simply never recorded in the first place. Without complete information, it is impossible to reconstruct events with absolute certainty. The human element of bias and the difficulty in understanding the context of recovered data further contribute to historical ambiguities.
As far as our concern about distorted historical facts, the debate is ongoing and complex, with different groups holding strong opinions on what constitutes a "correct" historical account versus a "distorted" one. Some claim that Indian history has been distorted, with recent debates centering on changes to school textbooks and accusations of both omitting and altering historical narratives for political reasons. The government has stated that efforts are underway to "correct" these distortions and present a more "accurate" version of history, which some critics argue is itself a form of distortion or biased revisionism.
The correction of the historical facts require reinterpreting events based on new evidence, discoveries, and perspectives. This is a normal and necessary part of the historical process that refines our understanding of the past. But that going to be a lengthy process. And it will take longer time.
In good faith - Peace!!
