Last few days, one of my student were not attending my coaching classes. It has been several days in continuation. Yesterday, when I turned up at his home to enquire about his well being, I found that everyday he leave for my classes but instead of reaching my home, he turn up at the ground to play cricket. He is a cricket enthusiast and loves playing cricket. While he missed my classes because of that, he kept lying at home with differrnt reason. Infact he even told that he attended the classes everyday. No doubt he was lying at home, because of his own primary reason. Lying has been in blood of every human being, I doubt that there even exist a person who never lied once in their lifetime.

People tend to lie on many ocassion to decive the truth. Peoole lie for many reasons, including to protect themselves and get what they want, or harm others. Therr are few reason to consider lying :
Self-protection: People may lie to avoid punishment, embarrassment, or physical harm. They may also lie to defend themselves against real or perceived consequences.
Instrumental reasons: People may lie to get something they want, like a reward or admiration.
Harm others: People may lie to be vindictive or manipulative.
Other reasons: People may lie to avoid disappointing themselves or others, maintain privacy, or get out of an awkward social situation. They may also lie to cover up feelings of inferiority or not want to hear the truth.
Every lie has its consequences.
Lying can have consequences, including destroying relationships, affecting how others treat you, and being psychologically unhealthy. Some common lies include saying you're sick, having a family emergency, or lying about a doctor's appointment. People may also lie by omission, when their subconscious filters out irrelevant information. For example, when someone asks you what you think of their painting, you might say you like it even if you don't, because your subconscious doesn't allow you to be aware of all your sensations at once.
Lies unravel.
Lying requires the ability to create a false belief and understand what others may or may not know. This capacity, known as "theory of mind", usually develops in children around the age of two or three. This is why being an adult, we alwsys try to I structure or guide the children to stop lying. Lying requires executive function, which is the part of the brain responsible for planning, regulating emotions, and controlling behavior. Executive function helps people recall details of a lie to make it sound believable and anticipate questions. However, using executive function for lying can also use up a lot of brainpower and make the brain slower and more likely to make mistakes.
The situation is such that most of us lives in the "world of lie". Because it is easier (and quicker) to claim something to be true than proving something to be true. However not every lie is bad, and there are lies which were spoken for good deeds. And those lie alwsys stands on a separate criteria.
One of the lie that I kept telling my Dad was about his recovery. He was in pain and continously in trouble and everytime, I used to make him.relaized it was a matter of few more days. Although we were aware that his position was degrading everyday and he was unable to on his feet. Still my lies alwsys give him hope and strength to fight every day. It was because of my lie that he able to survive for 5 long years. It was not easy to mabuthim believe but sometime we need to compromise with the situation.
Some lies can be considered good, such as white lies or altruistic lies that benefit someone else. There could be different types of lies that were spoken at differrnt situation. Being a human being we must focus that our lies do not harm anyone. It was always been spoken in good sense for thr welfare of the society and mankind.
