According to various religious beliefs, God can intervene into human's life in any form. Either they do it directly through different incarnation stories or through the help of angels. There are many theories and beliefs about angels that vary significantly across different religious traditions. They primarily focus is setting up relationship with God and humanity. The core concept of angels as a type of intermediary being bridging the gap between the material and the divine persists across many belief systems. We often comes across experiences that may prove the existence of these angels. People have many stories to share. They are someone that prove to one such angels that helps us difficult time and then vanishes. It depends on faith and belief as to how one recognizes them, and sometimes they comes to help, but people do not recognize Him. Currently, i can't recall any helping experience, but I have one such encounter in my life that I still remember and regret of not recognizing the messenger.

Sai Baba of Shirdi was a revered Indian spiritual master, saint, and fakir, worshipped by many communities. He is considered to be a divine incarnation by many. It has been said, that whosoever visit his shrine, he comes in any form to bless the devotees. I had one such instance from my first visit to the shrine in 2003 which still haunts me from time to time.
I was sitting around the temple complex holding an empty bottle of water and my friend was taking photos. The area had pretty good number of devotees. I was busy posing for the camera. Suddenly an old man came came out from the crowd and ask me for water. I was holding the empty bottle so I ignored showing him the empty bottles. I was into my young age so like any other youth I was more carefree. Soon, I felt that I did something wrong by not offering water to that person. There is a drinking water tap just around the corner where I was sitting. What I found more strange, is why the old man approach only me and asked for water, when there is a water tap around the area and also many other people around. Also, I could have fetch water from the tap and could have offer him. As soon as I realized my mistake I started looking for him but I cant locate him. He was lost or gone in no time. Everything happened in matter of minutes but he remain untraceable. I still regret of the situation. Offering water to needy is a good deeds, I felt that the divine power was testing me but I failed to recognize the presence.
There are many stories of Sai baba who appeared in many people dream and help them overcome many difficulties in life. Angels intervene in human lives primarily as divine messengers, protectors, and guides, working under God's direction to offer comfort, deliver warnings, provide physical and spiritual assistance, open opportunities, and defend people from harm. Angels are believed to shield people from both physical and spiritual harm, intervene in dangerous situations, and help individuals escape trouble. Their actions, seen across many faiths, range from subtle nudges to miraculous rescues.
It seems that I failed in my exam. What is more noteworthy is that ever since that incident happened, I never able to visit the shrine again. It was my only visit ever to the shrine. But that incident made me more mature. Every failure and experience teach us some lesson. May be I was too young to understand the incident, but now, at least, I cannot deny offering water to someone. This appears to be a folklore story but it was all done to me in my youth.
In good faith - Peace!!
