Hello everyone! ☺️ How has your week been so far? Going great I presume. Mine is great also.
I decided to take part in this week's episode two contest because I really love the topic, My Favorite Music.
Firstly, the term "music" means a whole lot. One can say that music is an indispensable part of the entire universe.
According to Wikipedia, "the origin of music remains highly contentious; commentators often refer it to the origin of language with much disagreement as to whether music originated before or after or came simultaneously with language."
In other words, music is life. Basically.
The history of music biblically has been traced to a man called Jubal in the book of Genesis.
Each culture and religion have their type of music and the histories that go with it.
Now, to my three favorite songs. ☺️.
The three songs I like most among others in my music library are:
- I CAN'T WAIT - AKON FT T-PAIN
I can't wait. LOL. I can hear the song already in my head.
This beautiful piece was released by Akon on April 14th, 2008. The song features popular R&B singer T-pain.
"I can't wait" is the seventh single off his second studio album Konvicted
I fell in love with this song the very first time I heard it. There's this feeling of relaxation I get when I listen to it which is why it's at the top of the list.
- MONEY AND LAUGHTER - BOJ FT ZAMIR AND AMAARAE
This song is what I'd call my groove song. The vibes that was delivered in this song is absolutely wonderful even for a picky human like me who selects her songs.
Money And Laughter is a Nigerian song featuring a Ghanaian singer Amaarae and it was released in the year 2021 and was a hit in the Nigerian music industry.
I heard the song playing on the radio for the first time and I was amazed and blown away. It just makes you nod your head.
- FOREVER AND ALWAYS - SHANIA TWAIN
This is my third favorite song and a song I love so much.
Mostly because it's a romantic song which reminds me that true love still exists out there.
Forever And Always according to Wikipedia is "a song co-written and performed by country music singer Shania Twain and it was the third country single from her fourth studio album UP! released in 2002."
Shania Twain has a very soothing voice which is one of the reasons I love the song, her voice makes you sing along with her.
It's such a beautiful piece.
That's a summary of my three favorite songs and I hope I got you to love them too.
Till we meet in my next post.
Thank you for reading and have a wonderful week. ☺️.
